HOUSTON - Six people were arrested at Lakewood Church Sunday after heckling Pastor Joel Osteen while he was preaching, according to Houston Police.

Not so far this year, not one day above 100 and this past Sat only got up to 88, Sunday was 90 but very low humidity.

Couldn't figure out what the basis of the heckle was. Personally, I would heckle the fact that he can't speak 3 words without blinking 17 times.

Osteen is a total goober. He and his wife both. Talk about the king of sunshine pumping. His message has zilch to do with God's Word. It's all about the power of positive thinking, in his mind. Think positive and God will make your dreams come true. If they don't? You aren't thinking positive enough!!

Well, I would expect to see this more as we go forward. Not just at Olsteens Church but others as well. The Church is becoming more and more of the enemy of society at a very fast pace. That is partly the fault of the Church and partly society just wanting to do what it wants to do with no one saying it is wrong. The truth is the Church was designed a body of Christ that was there to heal, give shelter, feed the hungry and so on. In short, to align ourselves to what Jesus commanded. "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." In todays world, not so much. Problem is after years and years of the Church telling people what they are doing is wrong and not in a loving manner, the Church now is doing the exact same thing as society is doing and coming across as some major hypocrites. "Just make me feel better Pastor so I can go get lunch."
