Got bored with Destiny so I picked this game up as a change of pace.
It's a combination of Dead Island, Assasian's Creed and Killzone Shadowfall.
At first I was a little frustrated with the game because there were no overpowered weapons that could mow down the infected. But after playing for a while, it has grown on me.
The game delivers blood and guts. But it also forces the player to think about how to get around obstacles to finish quests.
You can even switch characters and play a zombie.
I haven't finished it yet, but I can definitely recommend it.
First link is a quick trailer. Second one is a bit longer and has gameplay.

You are right, it's a good game. Am about 3/4 of the way through it but got wrapped up in Destiny again with the DLC.

I'm more of a Yahtzee and Rook man. But I have been known to play a pretty mean game of Space Invaders and Asteroids.

The Reef ? Is it worth it ? I got the first DLC and while it was fun, it was only about an hour's worth of new material.

It definitely adds to the story. New story playable content is only a couple of hours but it has the added bonus of the prison of elders which is well worth the DLC if you have a team of three to play with.
