How many of you thought this was about Duke?  Show of hands...

Malzahn alludes to AU receiver’s career being over

Unfortunately for Jaylon Denson and Auburn’s offense, his football career may be over due to medical reasons.

After missing the final six games of the 2014 season due to reinjuring his surgically repaired knee, Gus Malzahn alluded to Denson’s career potentially being over.

While on the SEC Coaches’ Teleconference, Malzahn said “it doesn’t look like it at this point” that Denson will return to the field.

Denson originally injured his patellar tendon against LSU in 2013, and he’s recorded just four catches for 57 yards in his career. Although Denson wasn’t a game-breaking receiver, he added some nice depth and dependability to the receiver position.

While the football news looks grim for Denson, he did graduate over the weekend.

On the realz, this sucks for Denson but at least he has a degree.

Right after I posted Duke twats, I went home for lunch.  On the way, the local sports talk guy said, "And we'll tell you about a receiver that looks to be done at Auburn."  I was going, "No....wait....Craig said it was all Gucci. Noooooo...."  They went to break and I sat out in the car til they came back and cleared that up.
