What's galling is how this is being portrayed. "Dak and other MSU players brutally attacked!" They were obviously surrounded and jumped by a larger group of people! Oh no!! If this were Auburn or LSU players the headline would read "Thugs get what they deserved..."

You don't know if he got jumped. He could have been walking alone and gotten blindsided. Either way he got a bottle smashed over his head and then kicked in the face while he was down. And both of those guys looked small. No way they take him down like that without some bullshit going on.

So does the stumbling bit.

So does the fact that nobody is just going to bum rush him and his posse for no reason. Zero chance Dak was an innocent bystander just minding his own business before he got the shit kicked out of him. 99.95% chance he ran that mouth and got it shut. He has a history of this. Got in a fight a few months ago in Starkville that got buried. Maybe more than one.

So is the fact that all of Dak's posse either took a beating or failed to come rally to his defense.

It's all funny to me.
