All my nerd friends who had the privilege of meeting him or working with him over the years at ComicCons are unanimous in saying what a great guy he was in person. Really took time for the fans, understood what ST and Spock meant to them, etc.

I'm just sorry I never got to meet him.

How funny!!! That was my immediate thought. "Oh!  Poor Sheldon!"

I know a lot of folks here don't like BBT, but I love it. The Christmas episode when Penny gets Sheldon the Spock autograph on the napkin and he freaks out and hugs her is one of my favs.
