Kendra Jane Sunderland made a student film that helped make the Oregon State University library famous, but it’s not exactly the attention the school was looking for.
Sunderland, 19, was arrested this week and charged with using the Oregon State University library for a porn shoot, with the movie posted on a popular adult movie site. Police cited Sunderland with public indecency and released her, said Steve Clark, vice president of university relations at Oregon State.
The porn movie set in the Oregon State University library was reportedly filmed sometime last year and was described by the state police log as a “solo act.†The movie was set on the library’s sixth floor and later uploaded to Pornhub.com.
The Gazette Times had further details on the video, noting that it “features a woman undressing and pleasuring herself at a library table in the section of the library labeled Geography, Anthropology, Recreation.â€
Sunderland attended Oregon State in the fall but is no longer listed as a student. School officials did not say if her departure was related to the porn movie, but did speak out against the movie.
“The university does not condone such behavior. This type of behavior does not represent the values of the university. And it definitely does not represent the values of the more than 30,000 students and 5,000 employees that make up Oregon State University,†said Clark.
The Oregon State University porn movie became a viral hit in itself this week, with Sunderland’s charges getting national attention. Playboy magazine’s website even covered it with the headline “Large-breasted blonde films porn in Oregon State library; campus freaks out.â€
The university said someone connected to the school noticed the movie and brought it to the school’s attention.
“Our social media manager was contacted by a friend who said he saw something that was busting loose on social media,†Clark said Thursday.
Kendra Jane Sunderland faces up to one year in jail and a $6,250 fine for the porn movie she filmed in the Oregon State University library.
