Ducks. Wishing they could both lose but I actually hate Urban so I'm hoping the Ducks take care of biz.

Oregon just overpowered and now tOSU will have to lose at least twice like Alabama to be out of the running for the championship.

I told Jumbo that the OSU RB and their WRs will make the difference.

Ezekiel Elliott is one of the most dangerous RBs I've seen in a while, every single time he touches the ball, he's full speed gaining about 50 yards per carry. He wasn't even considered the top 5 running back in the Big 10

And again college football has solved nothing.

I like how everyone is conveniently forgetting that TCU should have been in over Ohio State.  Based on the committee's own words from before the season, Ohio State should not have been in the playoff.

Quote
Other relevant factors such as key injuries that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance.

I'm happy for Ohio State that their 3rd string quarterback was able to come in and play backyard football to help them win against Alabama and Oregon.  I'm happy he went lights out against Wisconsin.

But no one knew or expected a 3rd string guy to carry the team.  That was a fluke.  That was more of a fluke than the Louis catch against Georgia.  I've seen a hail mary pass go for a touchdown before.  Never seen a 3rd string quarterback come in and keep a team at championship level.

So the one team that most likely did not deserve to even be there goes on to win the playoff.  The team that should have been there is sitting at home with nothing but a blowout victory over a top ten team.

Sham.  Expand the playoffs.

Sour grapes much? Really wanted that Bloomin' Onion I guess.

Urban Meyer has three championship level quarterbacks on his team. That's three more than the entirety of the SEC. Let that sink in for a bit.

Wisconsin laid down by command from the Big 10.  The league knew that the only way to get OSU into the playoff was for them to dominate.  Wisconsin took a fall.  On purpose.

E'rybody got paid.

And Cardale Jones is now considering the NFL draft.  HAHAHAHAHAHA.  Madea Goes to the League.  I guess he's got some talent or whatever, but he's just a big unpolished, raw, very fortunate project that looks like Tyler Perry and talks like Madea.  Why would he think he's ready for the NFL?

PFFFFFFFFFF-Fucking-TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

You've lost your fucking mind.  Marshall is a more complete QB than any of the three OSU has.  If Auburn had half a fucking defensive philosophy and didn't let its sphincter get tight in fear of Amari Cooper in the second half of a game they DOMINATED until they started playing scared on defense?  Would, should have beaten Bama 76-21.  With just half a defense would have dominated FSU, Oregon or OSU.

Cardale "Madea" Jones wouldn't start ahead of Marshall, Prescott, Jeremy Jones, Mauk.

He's Kenny "Trill" (tm) Hill with a slightly better supporting cast. Heisman after three games!!!  Where did Hill end up?  That's right. Bench. And transferring.

Their defense won those games.

But I can say this, the raw unpolished QB made some damn good throws when he needed to. And he ran the ball like a man. I cannot say that about NM THIS season...

So quit your sandy vagina bitching and just let them have their day. I cannot stand them either, but its not like they did not win when they needed to.

And once again, Oregon's blur offense has been outed.

And yes, the field should have been 8 and not 4. We all know this but we are so desperate for a playoff, we took what we could get.

So you think hes ready for the NFL? That was the argument on Jones.

There's very few college QBs ready for the NFL. And this kid has only shown a few games worth of above average play. I would say he's an idiot to even consider it.

BUT. He is not even projected as the starter next season. So the iron is hot right now.

He might make more leaving now than if he stayed and backed up. Or if he stayed and looked like crap next season. I'll say this. he looked as good as Cam did his first few games. So who knows.

I'm so fucking sick of this argument.  No, Madea Jones is NOT in the same stratosphere as Cam.  Neither was Manziel, Trill Hill, Braxton Miller, Russell Wilson, Blake Sims, Jacob Coker, RG 1, 2, 3 or 4, Jaboo Winston, Mariotta or any of the other half-baked fucks they keep trying to make into the next Cam.

tOSU looked big and physical across both sides of the line.  As the game wore on, it was apparent they were just as "fast" as the Ducks and when you combine that speed with players that overall, are just bigger and more physical, you get what you got last night.

Cardale Jones.  Can't ask for more out of someone who's first three starts come in the Big 10 Championship game, the Sugar Bowl and the MNC game.  Surrounded by a ton of talent or not, he played well in all phases of the game.  Stepped up in the pocket when he needed to.  Took off running when needed and threw the ball with accuracy. Just as important, he threw it away several times when it wasn't there.  Very impressive.  NFL ready?  I have no clue.  I would assume not given his lack of playing time.  Really don't care.  He just played great in 3 huge games.

Zeke Elliott was a beast.  They could have fed him all night.  He and the O-line were just too much for Oregon.  tOSU was just the better team.

Oregon.  Not going to put a big Pfffffft on their accomplishments.  I give huge props to Chip Kelly and Mark Helfrich.  They do more with less than any team out there.  While they've picked it up a bit in the size category over the years, they're still lining up with overall talent that's just a notch below the elite teams.  They have a system on offense that when it's clicking, is virtually unstoppable. They don't have a dominant D by any stretch but they get after you and they tackle well.  But the M.O. is consistent.  You win the battle in the trenches, they have no answer.  tOSU got physical last night and without the 4 turnovers, they very well could have hung 60+ on the Ducks.

You know Nick Marshall and Auburn put more yards on Bammer than Jones and tOSU right (as dysfunctional as we were the previous 3 games) ? The difference? We had no D. Last I checked, Wallace and Ole Miss beat Bama as well.

Why the honking of Oscar Meyer and that one trick pony conference they are in? One bowl season doesn't reverse a trend in the making for over a decade. Not sure why a fan of another team would adamantly defend such a sleezebag and that classless sleezebag school he is at. I hope Harbaugh is the 2nd pissing on Meyer's parade.

Truth is, his team did JUST enough to get in the playoff - and on their name, you can't deny that. And got hot at the right time against a weak lineup of teams that they matched up well against. They got blown out by Virginia Friggin Tech and their juggernaut OC, Scott Loeffler. Sure, credit where its due to tOSU for "playing the system" right and knowing when to win. But people need to quit acting like they are SOMEBODY now and some dyanasty in the making with a 3rd string QB who is now apparently an NFL First Rounder. These were the weakest top 4 teams in a long time. All of them very flawed. TCU belonged in that thing and we all know it. Until we go to 8 teams, this thing is no better than the BCS. At least most of the time, the BCS rewarded teams who had a complete body of work (not getting BLOWN out at home by VT).

I just watched the game with an open mind and judged the play, not the coach, the fans or the school.
And I tell you, they looked good. Could they do that week in and week out? I can't say.

You are epitomizing our society's current "getting caught up in the hype of the moment" mentality. Drawing broad conslusions based off a small window of time or sample size.

Comparing Jones to Cam is the most ridicilous thing Ive heard in a while. Just like it was to compare Dak to Cam.

I saw a big fat shit throw his body around in a herculean effort to keep his team in games.  It was a valiant success and he deserves a ton of credit for keeping that team alive.

But the majority of his passes were "Here you go.  You fucking do something with it."  Just big lobs for his receivers to catch.  The times where he did make reads, they were either wrong or so fucking slow that it makes one question whether or not Oregon's defense was out drinking the night before to not intercept them.  That one touchdown to the tight end on the out route took two seconds too long and a linebacker was there waiting for it.  He just had cement in his shoes or it's a pick six game changer for Oregon.

If Ezekiel Elliott isn't ripping off Tre Mason type runs all game (for the last three games actually), Ohio State is hungover today still wondering what could have been if JT Barrett hadn't gotten hurt.

Big difference in your first three games being games 1-3 and games 12-14. Games 1-3 a team is still learning its identity and gelling. You know good and well we went very conservative in Cam's first few games while the team adjusted and formed around him. Jones will NEVER...NEVER do what Cam did when he was at his best. He's not even capable.

No butthurt...I have no dog in the fight.

Once again, RIF stands for reading is fundamental.

He was only compared to Cam's first three games.

Regardless of first of the season to last of the season, the guy performed on par with one of our best's first three games. That does not make him as good or better, but he damn sure don't suck, as some of you are so eager to point out.

The comparison is valid in that there are not many other 6' 5" 250lb QBs you can compare him to.
