MONTGOMERY, Alabama -- While expressing his love for his home state of Alabama, Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook criticized the state for being slow to grant equality to minorities and the poor.
Having grown up in a loving family in Robertsdale, he said he doesn't understand why so many in Alabama and the rest of the nation are slow to grant equal rights to everyone, including the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender community.
"As a state, we took too long to steps toward equality," he said. "We were too slow on equality for African-Americans. We were too slow on interracial marriage, and we are still too slow for the equality for the LGBT community."

The only problem with this is that before you know it they'll be CEO's of major corporations and such. They'll own their own businesses and be able to vote.

Not enough 5 stars in the bunch for anybody in Alabama to care.

I agree. It's about time Alabama moved along with the times and allowed equal rights for the folks that Love to Grab Big Titties.

The problem here is that the left is continually trying to pass off gay rights as civil rights. They are not the same.
So basically he is asking for equality for any lifestyle choice.
He can stay in Cali where they push that shit.

Aside from my giving Chizad a hard time about his lifestyle choices and racist tendencies, I generally do not care who someone wishes to do the nasty with. Just because I don't agree with it and may find it an abomination doesn't mean that I dislike the person or refuse to do business with them. So, if Cook means we should hold hands with them and sing around a campfire, I'm not interested. If he means let them live as they wish, well yeah. I already do that.
If he means legalizing gay marriage, no not for it. If he means teaching that it's cool to be queer in the schools, not for it.
He needs to give me specifics. Equality, well yeah, I guess I'm for it and hope they have it. Except for the above examples.
