The father of the air bag was an Auburn man. I didn't know that one. I did know the lady who invented the windshield wiper is from Alabama but didn't know that she never made money from it. That sux.

The unedited version floating around the innerwebs is titled "Things to thank Alabama for" and includes the fact that Cullman coughed up Channing Tatum. That was enough for me.  Fuck peanuts. Fuck windshield wipers. Fuck space exploration.  Give me Magic Mike.  Yowza.
