Title: Internet advice
Post by: Ogre on August 05, 2014, 10:24:19 AM
I have DirecTV as my tv provider, but I have my internet through Wow.  They just jacked up my monthly internet charge from $32.95 to $56.95.  The only other internet provider in my area is Time Warner and their prices aren't any better.  Am I stuck paying that much for internet, or is there a better option that you nerds know of?

Sounds like we are about in the same boat.  I have direct for tv and Charter for internet.  Just went through this with the move and really couldn't find a better option.

Same here.  I've got the WOW's and they are going through the roof. We have the phone, cable and interwebz package with them and since I finally broke down and got mini a cell phone, I'm about to finally drop the land line.  Plus, unless I missed it I don't think WOW has jumped on board with the SEC Network yet.

What about AT&T?
My ATT Uverse costs $51.00 and Dish 200 is 48.00. I seriously scratch and claw to keep it below $100.

But I think Comcast, is running a special for 99.99 which could very well be in that coverage area of Huntsville and vacinity.
