1. FSU
2. Bama (How??)
3. Oklahoma
4. Oregon
5. Auburn.
I would argue that us and Bama should be flip-flopped, but I'm a delusional barner.

Good one.
Anyway, Ohio State & SOUTH CAROLINA received #1 votes.
Auburn did not.

I'm more surprised that Bama didn't receive any first place votes. They must be #2 or #3 in pretty much everyone's poll.

2. Bought and Paid For Turds
3. Indian Killers Who Wither in the Limelight
4. Fast Ducks of Suck
5. The Good Guys

Im ok with it. Bright side is we do better like this.

Obviously you barners haven't heard of Jacob Coker. Seriously, I thin #4 or #5 is a good spot for Auburn. I just don't see justification for ranking the gumps at #2.

Justification is that the Iron Bowl was a fluke and Oklyhoma was a consolation game that was impossible to be up for. Do you not read the paper?

Do you not read the paper?
They still print those?

Are we there yet?

Pawwll, it's jest like last year in camp down in tallyhassee - Winston may be #1, but Coker is 1A (and he's a white boy)

How about now? Are we there yet?

Was looking at FSU's schedule. The ACC may be the worst of the Power5 but they're OOC schedule is pretty stout with Okie State...Notre Dame and Florida.

This is how I envision it playing out.
FSU-beats N.Carolina or maybe Va Tech for the ACC...does it matter who they play?
Auburn wins a three way SEC West ( w/Alabama and LSU) and then beats So Carolina for SEC Championship.
Baylor beats Texas and Oklahoma in regular season again. That's it...no showcase game.
Michigan State loses early to Oregon, beats Ohio State (now both in the same division) and then beats Wisconsin, Nebraska or possibly Iowa for the Big Ten title.
Oregon wins PAC 12 Championship over UCLA.
*I'm not impressed with the QB play of Miller, Hogan or Hundley enough to get their teams to the playoff.
Maybe Alabama gets Ohio State and LSU gets Oklahoma in consolation bowl games.
I can't pick the odd man out among the five if two are one loss teams and the other doesn't have a championship game. Oregon could have a loss as well.

I hate to bring on any bad hoodoo, but the most Auburn thing ever would be us being a clear #1 or #2 in the first year of the four team playoff system, and then losing to #3 or #4.

Maybe, but we aren't bluffing anymore with Chizik because Malzahn is playing blackjack. I've sensed doubt on the Auburn sidelines in years past and even in Malzahn but that was only when he was standing near Chizik. And now that Gus is running the show I think other teams fear us.

Beat me to it.

You guys are outcho' damn minds if you don't think putting ND and Florida on your OOC schedules makes it badass. In the we signed up Clemson thread, some are calling for ND as a better choice. Some on here have been picking Florida to beat the mighty Tahd. Name a team with a harder OOC schedule.

Big difference in saying it would be nice to play them and saying they are stout. There is nothing stout about Fla and ND right now.
On the other hand, playing Okie State in the opener is ballsy. I give them credit there. That could be dangerous.

They both blow monkey dicks, but it does look good because of the tr'dition bullshit that the media & pollsters give way too much weight too.
That said, that is exactly WHY I want both of them on our schedule instead of trying to pretend we are USCe and play them as our OOC game every single year.

Would be a good thread topic. What would be the most Auburn?
I'd say we start killing teams and looking like a clear cut #1 or at least a debate with FSU for #1. Then we get to A&M who has four losses and we're favored by 21 and we lose at 11am at home by 14. Then we get left out of the playoff due to "when we lost" even though everyone knows it's bullshit.

Y'all still outcho damn minds. Okie State, Notre Dame and Florida is as stout as any team in the country will play in any given year. Not saying any of those teams are world beaters (Again, some of you think UF will beat Bama) but that's three high quality H20 opponents you have to get ready for. Now granted, they can because the ACC doesn't present much of a problem for them.

So which is it young feller? Is McTatthole any good or do bammer not need no QB?
This ranking is, to me, a condemnation of McTatthole. For all the al.com slobbing of his knob, ranking them second with no quarterback whatsoever means most consider AJ inconsequential to their success. I tend to agree that he wasn't worth a shit. The only thing he did well was not turn the ball over against cupcakes. I honestly don't think the new guy will be able to do even that.
