Title: Marshall's Fine Paid, Case Closed
Post by: The Six on July 24, 2014, 12:15:02 PM
Nick Marshall's fine has been paid, Auburn quarterback's case closed in marijuana citation (http://Nick Marshall's fine has been paid, Auburn quarterback's case closed in marijuana citation)

Some selected quotes:

Quote
The Auburn quarterback's mother, Shalena Cliett, paid the fine, which was approximately $1,000 for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana and $100 for the illegal window tint on his vehicle.

Quote
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn has not announced his decision on punishing Marshall for the citation, although the quarterback was not allowed to go to SEC Media Days or attend Auburn's ESPY appearances.

And oddly enough:

Quote
the other officer involved in Marshall's traffic stop, Christopher Rachalla, has been arrested and charged with two charges of simple battery, terroristic threats, 2nd degree criminal damage, criminal trespassing and violation of oath of office.

Rachalla turned himself in to Holder after an alleged incident of domestic violence on Tuesday night and has been fired from the Reynolds police force, news first reported by WRBL.

So, now what?

I don't see full pads.

Because that would be a violation until regular practice starts.

Didn't realize that.  In that case strap a backpack with 2 -25lb plated on him and make him run steps.

I wouldn't push the running for fear of  injuring him. Had rather see him sit a game.

He sat some in the A-day game. That count?

Put him in the pool swimming laps at 4:00 AM every morning for a week.

Hire a motivational speaker to work with him.  Sign it off as training, and suit him up.

The schedule is daunting enough as it is. Marcello kept tweeting asking if Johnson were ready as if it were a foregone conclusion that Marshall would be held out. But I think already having to miss two functions in addition to that video in cuffs is enough. Sure Johnson is ready, why wouldn't he be?  Not many teams can count on one guy making it through the entire season in this league.

Unless the QB is the demigod known as Jacob Coker

Johnson has a couple of starts and some Freshman of the Week accolades under his belt already.  Nick won't sit, but Johnson is certainly ready.

I say we take a page from the turds play book and give him a formal written reprimand that is post dated.

And ice cream. Maybe a half-game against La Monroe, until we start losing.

Swimming creates a different type of muscle. While it is good for stamina, you don't really want elongated muscles for football.

Swimming makes your dick longer?....fuck me...I knew I should have installed a pool.

Swimming makes your richard longer?....fudge me...I knew I should have installed a pool.
It doesn't necessarily cause it to get longer. I had a naturally elongated muscle but when I swim in warm water, it elongates more. However, swimming in really cold water shrivels my muscle and nuts.

Most seem to. But in the pool instance you're describing, that was likely a small dick and not shrinkage.

Although water does tend to enlarge objects from a visual standpoint. So apparently if the small size was an issue for her in that situation, there is probably a high probability of no success in this relationship.

Sheridan places the Auburn win total at 10 and projects us to lose to Alabama naturally and Ole Piss.

We know they had their best recruiting year ever in 2012 and a slightly less successful class last season which might be due to filling needs over star power yet it is baffling to me (I'm easily baffled) why those supposedly in the know think the Reb's are going to be such a powerful force in the SEC West. Maybe I'm short selling Freeze as a tactician but I haven't witnessed any noteworthy strategic moves during their games unless he fooled us by going single mini-back for an entire game or by allowing his 50 cent headed QB to throw three straight out patterns to the same covered receiver at the end of last years game. We grinded out a win in a mistake riddled game but we manhandled them badly on both sides of the ball.

Okay I heard analyst Trevor Matich go on about how diverse their offense is and it has also been mentioned that Wallace had an ailing shoulder and was nursing other injuries last season but this team is not a title contender-after Alabama of course.

All opponents get respect, some more than others but based on last years game (+fan comments) I see no reason for Auburn to quake in fear.
