Athlon released it's 5-25. Kind of a weird thing to do. Anyway, it's the off season. It's that next to the last sentence that worries me. from the dot I am a gay twerker that has no balls!!!! I also have no idea how to use the quote function to post stories, so I annoy the piss out of others. I like male genatalia in and around my mouth. of the al Discuss:
The preseason previews began a little while, and more will trickle in as the summer keeps advancing toward the start of college football next season.

Auburn, already ranked No. 5 by both Phil Steele and the Sporting News, checks in again at No. 5 in the Athlon Sports Preview, which was released today by the magazine.
Tigers quarterback Nick Marshall, who already graces regional covers for both the Sporting News and Lindy's, has also been placed on a regional cover for Athlon as the second-year quarterback returns to run Auburn's offense.
The full in-depth preview will be available when magazines hit newsstands around Memorial Day.
Athlon is rolling out its top 25 over the course of this week, although the magazine hasn't released its top four teams ahead of the Tigers so far. With Alabama almost a certainty to be on that list, Auburn faces six teams in 2014 who earned mention on Athlon's preseason top 25: Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Ole Miss, LSU and Kansas State.
The rest of the top 25, as released by Athlon so far:
5. Auburn
6. Oregon
7. UCLA
8. Georgia
9. South Carolina
10. Baylor
11. Michigan State

So, will it be the process or the processed crab that gets the #1 spot?

The logical choice would be Captain Crablegs. Undefeated. Returning Heistman Trophy winner. ACC level shitty schedule....
But, I've already seen a couple of obscure polls with Lord Saybinz' minions at the top.
-
My first impression is that ND. tx and UF are ranked too high. Clemson and MO too low. And I would def think AU should be in the top 3, regardless of how tough the schedule is.
-
Top 4 will be:
1. Bama
2. FSU
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State
Auburn should be top 2. Bama should not. Same ol song & dance.

Ohio State will be where you have Oky St.

Mizzou lost their QB (Didn't they? Did he get drafted?) running back, two defensive ends and 7' receiver Dorial Beckham Green Beckham... to the hemp. Totally agree on Florida. They may turn it around but that bunch was anemic last year.
And Texas? This may have been mentioned in the draft day discussion but they were saying on a couple of sports talk shows that the Longporns didn't have one player drafted. First time in 80 gazillion years. Talent level has apparently plummeted.

Yeah, derp on my part. I'm dyslexic sometimes.

Yeah, I'm bisexual.

Mizzou has a pretty good back up stepping into the starting roll. Remember he started several games for them last year, and there was talk that when the original starter came back from his injury if he would get the starting job back or not. I think his first game back from that injury was the SECCG.
Fuck the gaytors! I'm glad we didn't end up with Muschamp.

Yeah, derp on my part. I suck dick sometimes.

Plus, they'll be a lot more loose in the locker room. No more ass slaps...."Good game"....slap...."Great game....slap...."Nice game".....
-
WTF were they smoking when they made that poll...and can I get some...for my cataracts.
and Gaytors at 23.....23..... Did team Jort suddenly sign a QB that can actually play the position that I am unaware of?

QB play apparently doesn't matter anymore...
-
So, the SEC will have 3 teams on this poll in the top 10 with a first year QB. That's why I would put MO higher. At least that kid has more starts.
The gaytors being in top 25 is dumbfounding.

Well, we made it to the Natty with a DB back there, so apparently not.

Very true

Yep, UF being top 25 at first glance is a little mind boggling. But, I guess they're thinking UF came off a damn good season in 2012 and last year got absolutely hammered by injuries. Jeff Driskel was supposed to have a big year at QB but struggled early and then got injured. He's back and Muschamp scrapped the offense, hiring Duke OC, Kurt Roper. Roper did a lot with very average talent at Duke. I think there's plenty of talent there. Maybe a situation (like it should have been at AU with Chizahn) of Muschamp focusing on the D and letting Roper run the show on offense. We shall see.

They get who they want, they have just had Chizik west coaching the last few years.

Good point. They might have a big time turn around, but I don't see where they deserve to be ranked in the top 25 before the season starts.

Talent-despite the anemic offensive showing Florida is thought to be better off than 100 or so other teams.
Driskell was a late Auburn lean. So glad he chose Florida.

Ole Miss ahead of LSU??????

Ole Miss ahead of LSU??????
Don't really have a problem with this.
Bo Wallace is for real. They beat LSU last year with basically the same cast. LSU is rebooting just as much as Alabama is, if not more.

Bo Wallace is for real.

Look at his stats versus SEC teams. He'd have to take a flight, rent two cars and go on a three-day hike to even SEE average.
Stolen, but valid:
Vs. SEC teams, Bo had only 8 TD's to 9 Int's and his YPA drops to 7.10.
11 of his 18 totals TD's came against SE Missouri St., Idaho, Troy, and Arkansas.
When the game was tied or Ole Miss was losing by less than 7 points last year, Wallace had 2 TD's and 6 Int's and his YPA dropped even further to 6.1 yards per attempt.
