Lucky, uat booster/CEO of 24/7 recruiting service, stated that Rashaan Evans has been practicing his speed, agility and hip flexibility by chasing down Arabian Horses at a nearby horse farm.
A few things to note...
One, bammers and horses go together like grilled cheese and chili.
Two, that's compete and utter bullshit that anyone can chase down an Arabian Horse.
Three, if he was actually chasing down a horse, any horse...he'll be in the hospital with a broken face after it kicks the fuck outta him.
Four, if you've ever been to a horse farm, you'd know that the surface is not designed for people to be running and cutting working on agility, unless you want to have your ankles broken or have ligament damage to the knees.

I didn't know you could dip a grilled cheese sandwich dick first into a bowl of chili.

You don't have a clue about bammers and their horses. As soon as the horse sees the stool, they know it's go time!

For those that don't know, Derrick Henry tweeted an instagram picture of that with the quote:

It literally never stops. After the 257th Dodge Charger these poor impoverished players (who definitely need to be paid in order not to starve) have come across as a gift from a "rich uncle", still absolutely no one but rivals on twitter bat an eye.
It's astounding in its own right, but when you couple it with the 2010 (and beyond) Auburn witch hunt, it truly is amazing.

Correction: This one's a Dodge Challenger. A step up from the Charger.

Pat White Says Alabama Offered Him a Corvette To Sign with Tide
1:30p ET
Posted by Clay Travis
On Monday Alabama running back Derrick Henry posted a picture of his new car. "Everybody meet my new baby, Fiona."
Immediately everyone in the SEC accused Alabama of buying the car for him. Because, well, it's the SEC and this is what happens every time a top player who doesn't have a job posts photos of himself driving a nice car. Which happens, to be fair, a ton.
Y'all inundated me with this picture, but I wasn't going to write about it until former West Virginia quarterback Pat White stepped into the mix. Posting on his own Facebook page alongside photos of Henry's new ride, "Stop pretending like you didn't know the crimson tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer."
Oh.
Snap.
There's just one problem with White's Bama takedown. According to Rivals he didn't have an offer from Alabama. Of course, Rivals is not infallible when it comes to recruiting offers, so maybe White did have an offer from the Tide. If so, the current Edmonton Eskimos quarterback made an intriguing decision, giving up a Corvette and the home state school to go to West Virginia for four years.
Has that decision ever been made before by anyone for any reason?
Regardless, the lesson, as always, for college football players: Don't post your new cars on Instagram. Sure, you may deserve those cars -- even if they violate NCAA rules -- given how much you're making the school, but even if the cars are entirely purchased with your own money no one is going to believe that. Not even former top football recruits from Alabama.
-
:move:
SSDD. Henry can post that pic. Not an eyebrow in Indy raised. Pat White can publically admit he was offered a $50K plus ride. Crickets. Fluker can publically admit he got bank, then a detailed story with proof comes out. Tumbleweeds. Cash in hand #struggleoverwit. Yawn. Coach "loans" a player money. ZZZZZZZ....and on and on and on and on....
Nada. Zip. Zilch.
-
I just went back and read that NTYF piece they did, "Where there's fire; there's fire." No worries. They're bullet proof.
-
The cars, lots and lots of Dodge cars, strugglesoverwit, etc. are obviously no big deal. I mean, really, why even keep it up? If it mattered, it would've stopped long before now.
The big conferences are full of glass houses. Is the house in Tuscaloosa bigger? I don't know but it sure seems that they don't mind walking around naked with the lights on and drapes open.
Re: Pat White, why say this? It's not cool to me. He could cast out baseless claims about AU or any other team in the country that he may or may not have had an offer from. It can easily be construed as jealousy. I'm not saying that it didn't or did happen. I'm just a little suspect of it. Maybe it would be a little more believable to me, had he gone somewhere other than WV.

I didn't follow his recruitment but I'm wondering if he wasn't being recruited as a QB. Honestly, he wasn't much of a QB but was perfect in RichRod's offense with his incredible athleticism. Maybe WV was one of the few D1's to give him a shot at the position. I defer to the Prowling one for the 411 on his recruitment.
Also, agree on the lack of said coolness. Smacks of Eric Ramsey. You were freely given money and shit while playing at a high profile SEC school. Then after the fact, you turn around and bite the hand that was feeding you? White says Bama offered him a Corvette...now he's complaining?
But cool or not, I believe him.

Total off base thread hijack here. Several years ago here in Dothan, the cops busted up a slut ring. The mug shots of the "ladies" of the evening were...shall we say.... :puke:
Anyway, one of the hookers said when she told one of the potential customers how much for her services, he told her he didn't have that much but he'd be back. He came back in his beat up ass pick up and offered her several squirrels he had just shot and the rusty, old dryer in the bed of his truck.
Not sure if she took him up on it.

NASHVILLE — Alabama coach Nick Saban, during a Nashville stop of the Crimson Caravan today, was asked about a vague recruiting accusation against the Crimson Tide made by former West Virginia quarterback Pat White on social media. The allegation referred to a period during the the early 2000s when Saban was head coach at LSU.
A Nashville reporter broached White's claims of improper offers in the recruiting process. Alabama spokesman Jeff Purinton stepped in and said Saban was not with the program at the time of White's recruitment.
But Saban responded anyway. "I didn't even know it happened," he said. "So I can't comment on it. ... Is that the best thing we can talk about? ... kiss my ass."
White made his claims on response to Alabama running back Derrick Henry's Instagram photo of his new car. White, now playing in the Canadian Football League, posted his comment on Facebook on Wednesday.

"I am down to three: West Virginia, Mississippi State, and LSU," he said. "They are in no particular order. I have narrowed it to three, but I still want to go to all three."Mississippi State was late getting in on White, but has made good strides toward gaining his signature."They were late, since they just got new coaching staff, but Coach (Freddie) Kitchens, he's a really nice guy," he said.Although an Alabama native, Pat said he did not know much about Coach Kitchens' days at Alabama, since he did not grow up a fan of either Alabama or Auburn. He did, however, cheer for two schools; one of which has made his final cut.

He has a number of ties to Alabama including ex-teammates Jeremy Clarkand Atlas Herrion, and cousin Wallace Gilberry. Herrion is also a cousin. He recently had an in-home visit with Tide head coach Mike Shula."It was nice. I enjoyed meeting with him," White explained. "Alabama is a nice school with a big tradition. They started out recruiting me as a wide receiver but now they are saying quarterback."
LSU head coach Nick Saban was also a recent visitor."I really enjoyed him," White said. "He's very serious about what he does. Coach Saban enjoys what he's doing and I wouldn't mind playing for him. They are recruiting me as a wide receiver."

Look for the Alabama staff to turn up the heat on Daphne High School quarterback/athlete Patrick White. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Mobile, Alabama native is having a sensational senior campaign, leading Daphne to a perfect 14-0 record and a berth in the Class 6A state championship game against 13-1 Hoover this Saturday. This season, White has rushed for 1,773 yards with 30 touchdowns and passed for 1,433 yards and 14 Touchdowns. Alabama has offered and is pushing hard for a commitment. White is also receiving serious attention from Ole Miss and a host of other southeastern schools. White is a versatile athlete and could play any number of positions at the collegiate level.
That pretty much sums it up, he committed to LSU and Coach sabbin on Jan. 26th 2004, then switched to West Virginia on signing day.
There's a pretty good chance that White was talking about LSU & sabbin (along with NCAA President Mark "blind eye" Emmert) offering him the 'Vette.

Pat White, a former West Virginia quarterback who implied on his Facebook page that he was offered a car to sign with the University of Alabama, was not heavily recruited by the Crimson Tide according to a member of UA's staff at the time, and was not offered a scholarship by Alabama according to Rivals.com's recruiting database.
White, from Daphne, posted the comment alongside a link to a report on reaction to current UA player Derrick Henry's post of a photo of himself next to a new car on his Instagram account.
"Stop pretending like you didn't know the crimson tide has been doing this for years. Still glad I turned down a Corvette to become a mountaineer," White's post said.
White played at West Virginia from 2005-08.
According to Sparky Woods, who was running backs coach on the staff of UA head coach Mike Shula at the time White was being recruited, Alabama had little interest in the player.
"I didn't recruit Pat, but I remember he wanted to be a quarterback," Woods said. "I remember a discussion that we weren't going to recruit him as a quarterback. That was kind of a closed book on him pretty early because he wanted to be a quarterback."
White's profile in the Rivals.com database from his recruitment out of high school listed the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder as a three-star prospect as an athlete. He was rated No. 55 in the nation among athletes - a designation for skill players who don't fit a specific position.
According to the recruiting profile, Alabama did not offer White. The profile lists offers from West Virginia, Auburn, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
That jibes with the memory of Woods, now head coach at Virginia Military Institute.
"I don't think he ever took an official visit that I remember," Woods said. "I never met him. I saw him play and he was a good athlete, but I don't think he ever took a trip to Tuscaloosa or ever was in camp that I recall."
