After three seasons, Greg McElroy is moving on from the NFL.
The former Alabama quarterback, who spent two years with the New York Jets and one with the Cincinnati Bengals, announced his retirement early Friday on his Twitter page.
I am retiring from being the IT guy for the X.
At least now we know why it shut down.He T Bell'd our board!

I would like to announce that I am retiring from driving in the Indy 500 racing series, as well as managing Goldman Sachs investments, being a nuclear physicist and a poet. I'd like to thank Greg McElroy for giving me this idea.
I'd also like to thank all of my friends and family for their support. Especially all of the people of the X, where people have been imagining themselves something more than they really are, for many years.
I may be announcing some more retirements soon but for now that is all. Thank you. Signed, WT
Can't wait for the SEC Network now. Fineschlong and Birdie McGingerfingerDon't forget Jesse Palmer & Tebow.
Don't forget Jesse Palmer & Tebow. The only reason it will last is because they will force football games on it.
Apparently it will be the Gumps & Gators Network.
Gosh, I hope Rick Karle and Mike Raita can find spots in that lineup.and Finescum...cause everyone wants to see his mug.

I'm still trying to see what the attraction is to this guy. He offers nothing. NADA. He has a radio show where he throws out a subject and spends the next 4 hours letting callers make fools of themselves. He talks about Bama and Lord Saybinz all day and couldn't tell you the name of one of their defensive linemen. Because he doesn't know. He sits on the Game Day set with guys who have all played the game, who actually know what they're talking about. Why?I think you answered your own question. I listen when I'm driving because of this. Not always but often. It's simply entertainment.

Music is entertainment. Audio books are entertainment. Counting roadkill is entertainment.
Finescum is not entertainment. It makes you stupider for having listened to it and may God have mercy on your soul.
