Title: Local H
Post by: wesfau2 on March 06, 2014, 10:44:08 AM
Found another band that the kids...

Kidding, been a casual fan for about 20 years.  Saw these guys in a tiny club in Orlando last night.  No roadies, so Scott and the new drummer loaded and set up all their own gear.   Then dominated for 90 minutes.  Hardly a break between songs.  It's amazing the depth of bass he gets out of that modified Strat.  To close the show, he crowd-surfed to the merch table and stood there selling, signing and taking pics until every last person in attendance was served.

I was blown away by the show and the lack of ego for a guy who was once relatively successful.  Go see these guys if they come anywhere near you.

When I saw the title, I pictured Triple H from the WWF.  Was kind of scared to picture a ginormous muscle freak crowd surfing.

But as for the band, I haven't thought about them in years.  Bound for the Floor is a great song.

You shouldn't be ashamed that this turned you on. This is almost the twentieth something century. You are smart and articulate. Make your own sexuality decisions and stand behind them. Or, in front. Whatever.

My favorite of their "hits" is "All the Kids Are Right"...the only song they didn't play!

"Eddie Vedder" was also awesome.
