Read a non-spoilery review of the new Robocop from Mark Kermode:

"While the remake may not be groundbreaking, at least it appears to have been made by someone who understands what made the original great. For that, we should be thankful."

That's promising in my book.

If it doesn't have a guy getting doused in toxic waste and then run over by a car then it's going to suck.  Same as the Total Recall remake when they took out the hooker with the three boobs, remakes ruin everything.
