Title: The Book of Malzahn
Post by: Tiger Wench on January 03, 2014, 04:31:10 PM
One of the best articles I have read to date about Gus and his mental, preparation and pursuit of perfection.

The article is way way long and too hard to post from my phone, but here's the link. Definitely worth a read.

His saying that a lot of HS coaches could be doing the same thing that he's doing if only given the opportunity is classic Gus. He's a humble guy, who just happens to be somewhat of a genius. I don't think he really even cares if he is.

In many respects, he reminds me of me.

Great insight in to the mind and methods of our coach.  He's very contrary to the "average" coach in today's college game.  It's his simplicity and attention to detail that makes him so good.
