10 SEC teams going bowling.
Talking Heads were right. The league is down this year.
-
Games I'm interested in watching:
Dec 30 - Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. Oregon
Jan 3 - Cotton Bowl: Missouri vs. Oklahoma State
Jan 2 - Sugar Bowl: Alabama vs. Oklahoma
Jan 6 - BCSCG: Auburn vs. Florida State
I'm sure I'll tune in on New Years Day, but honestly, this is the weakest bowl line up I've ever seen. Even the Alamo and Cotton Bowls aren't all that interesting unless Brown is fired at Texas. Then the Sugar will probably be over before halftime, but the possibility of Alabama losing will get me to turn it on.
-
Rose Bowl is interesting to me. Not sure I wanna play either of those teams.
-
Looks like I'll just watch one Bowl game, maybe two if Oklahoma does the unthinkable and makes it a close game against uat.
-
bama will blow the doors off of choklahoma even with Smart as THC.

I just can't get up for those two teams because their offenses are boring. Like bloodshot eyes, chapped lips boring.

I don't think it's horrible over all. As always there are about five throwaways.
But there are a lot of interesting matchups.
I see a lot closer games overall than in the past. I think picking will be a bit mite difficult this year.

I'll watch Texas and Oregon.
Probably watch Stanford and Michigan State if I'm having insomnia and need to go to sleep. That'll be some boring caveman football. (As a side note, I was a long-time proponent of cave man football. I didn't like the big scoring teams years ago and enjoyed the runs with Tuberville and Dye where 17 points was usually enough. Now it's not enough to get out of the first quarter. But I've learned to appreciate the beauty of a smoothly functioning offensive machine as much as a defensive beast.
Will watch Missouri and Oregon State to see how well the Zoo plays. But only half-heartedly. Don't really give a fark about either.
Clemson and Ohio State I'll watch for a while in hopes Dumbo gets his nose rubbed in it again. I despise that Lou Holtz looking retardo.
Might watch some of Georgia/Nebraska in case Pellini rips off his pants and craps on the field. And also to see what next year's QB looks like.
Might watch some of LSU/Iowa to see what the future of LSU quarterbacking looks like.
Won't watch one second of Bama/Oklahoma. I'm not interested in watching two old hags dance around and talk about the glory days from 50 years ago.
And I might watch a little of the Texas A&M game just to remind myself that Johnny Manziel is no Doug Flutie and has zero chance of making an NFL impact.
