Forget the earthquake, too.

Well I'm adding another to the list.

Decided not to attend the 2010 Iron Bowl because we had family in town.

Couldn't attend the 2010 SECCG because I had a music gig that was paying $100 and since I was just starting out, I didn't want to turn it down.

Decided not to take my friend's dad's offer of paying half of my total cost to get to Glendale because I felt bad about it.

Decided not to take a friend up on his offer of $150 for two tickets in section 11 to last night's game.

Maybe me not attend the biggest Auburn games of the last few years has been the good luck charm.

This is by far the best audio example of last night that I have seen/heard.

There was sound on that video?  I'm sorry, I couldn't hear it. My ears are still ringing from the game last night.

If we still had those old "tigers that light up when it's loud" things on either side of the south end zone scoreboard, they would have exploded.

The lights were shaking.

Either that or the ground was shaking and it made it appear they were.

Was on the field when we beat LSU in 2006 and I thought the sound was going to stop my heart.

Was running down the sidelines with Quentin in 1994 when the last interception turned back LSU. Sound was enormous.

Have been there when we won last second games against MSU, Utah State, Florida and others.

Last night was something completely unto itself.  The sound was different. It was almost alive. It wasn't the cannon-like thump in 2006 that compressed my chest, it was more like a roaring wall of fire that engulfed everything around it.

Never seen or heard anything to compare.

I was on the field in a back and forth game with Florida in the '90's.  Had a walkie talkie turned as loud as it would go and had it pressed to my ear and could not hear a thing.  That's the loudest I've ever heard it, I can't imagine what it would have been like there last Saturday.  Hate I missed it.

Pfffffft...when Chandler Shakespeare busted off left tackle for a 15 yard gain late in the game against WCU....holy shift, I could barely hear myself fart.
