You can find out this Saturday as fans will get to run onto Pat Dye Field.

Auburn allowing fans field access after homecoming game Saturday

Auburn fans that attend the Tigers' 100th homecoming game, at 1 p.m. Saturday against FCS opponent Western Carolina, will be allowed access to the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium following the game, once it has been cleared of players and coaches. Fans will be permitted to take pictures or simply walk the field at their leisure.

â€œThere are countless Auburn fans young and old that would like to have the opportunity to walk the field that Auburn players and coaches past and present have played on,â€ Auburn Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said in a statement released by the university. â€œWe felt that this was a great time to do this. Weâ€™re very appreciative of the Southeastern Conference and Commissioner Slive for granting us a waiver and allowing this to happen for our fans.â€

Access to the field will be granted approximately 15 minutes after the game through gates at sections 1, 11, 15, 20, 24 & 34 and will be allowed on the field to 45 minutes. Fans are asked to "please heed the direction of the stadium announcer and security personnel." Fans will not be permitted to climb over the brick walls in each end zone.
