Here's a couple of excerpts:

Quote
In many ways, the controversy surrounding Robinson was the first major sign of problems at Auburn last fall. Though coach Gene Chizik ultimately lost his job based on a 3-9 record, an NCAA investigation related to the recruitment of Robinson – assistants Curtis Luper and Trooper Taylor were suspended from off-campus recruiting while the probe was ongoing, according to a Yahoo! Sports report – contributed to the cloud hovering over the program.

Quote
The NCAA first became aware something was amiss with Robinson's transcript when the one that was submitted to the eligibility center by Auburn differed from the one another school recruiting him had obtained. That led the NCAA to Wooddale High, where Robinson attended high school, and an investigation that revolved around the role two guidance counselors and a physical education teacher who was an avid Auburn fan.

One of those counselors, Valerie Starks-Sykes, admitted to Memphis City Schools officials that she had changed one or more of Robinson's grades but wouldn't reveal who had asked her to do so and instead resigned, according to e-mails obtained by the Memphis Commercial Appeal. The teacher, Rhonda Wilkinson, admitted to ESPN last November that she accompanied Robinson on an unofficial visit to the school.

And you wonder why we don't get votes in the polls.

This is seriously national worthy news? Good grief. The agenda seems obvious now.

Former Auburn football signee Jovon Robinson, who left Auburn after enrolling due to an NCAA investigation into his high school transcript being altered, is now at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia working to regain his eligibility and according to an interview, the former Auburn Tiger says he's hoping to eventually enroll at Alabama.

Meaning widespread. Usatoday is now in the mix I guess. Front page baby !

This is a player who never really played for auburn. Had issues that had nothing to do with auburn. This is just a new low. They are reaching here.

I'm beginning to think that there could be some impropriety within the Memphis football recruiting scene.

Exactly my thoughts. Seems to always be some recruiting issues that arise from that area.

I guess I am just amazed at the ignorance of some people thinking that altering a recruit's transcripts would never be discovered if somebody snooped around. Then again I have a feeling it happens all the time and just never gets questioned that much until somebody with a grudge speaks up.

The Trooper/Luper thing had nothing to do with this, and it was Auburn who found out about the grade change and reported it, and decided it was best to let him go due to the possible impropriety. The NCAA officially, publicly, cleared Auburn.

But, facts n' stuff.

Nope.

Auburn sent one of their fans to college to become a high school teacher.  Upon graduating, Bobby Lowder and Jimmy Rane located a very athletic 10 year old by the name of Jovon Robinson.  They sent this Auburn fan to Jovon's school system and coached this person into getting the job.  After three years of experience, that teacher went on to graduate school to become a guidance counselor.  That guidance counselor then told a friend who was a PE teacher and coach that he should apply and get hired at this school to double team Jovon.  Then, these two conspired together to cheat by changing Jovon's grades so that Jovon had no choice but to go to Auburn instead of going to the schools he really wanted to go to such as Ole Miss.

THOSE are the facts, Aubie.

Y'all do realize uat was his first offer. I said it before and I'll say it again, Auburn isn't in the grade changing bidness...uat is and they'll continue to be in that bidness, because they can.
