Then I am. Backstreet Boys are better than N'Sync.

Nobody is surprised.

Is Kaos in that picture? Let me guess. The black guy!

That's me in the middle. Undercover as the hottest chick on the Bama campus.
-
This thread frightens me.
Backstreet Boys are at Alabama's weight room, and they now feature a girl who is not a girl but Kaos dressed up like a girl along with a black guy kind of cocking his head to the side as if he's whispering sweet nothings to the cross dresser next to him. And there's a random blue guy who may or may not be holding some kind of white magic wand from Harry Potter.

I am just old enough to have missed every boy band except Musical Youth. I am proud to say that I did not recognize a single person in that picture.
Obviously I am not ghey.

Anybody who had a daughter between the ages of 8-18 in the mid 80s knew the names of the members of New Kids. Might only be able to recall one song (if that), but knew the names then and could probably remember at least two of them today.
Anybody who had a daughter between the ages of 8 - 18 in the early 90s knows the members of Backstreet and N'Sync. May not be able to correctly identify which songs go with which band but you know the names.
Anyone with a daughter between the age of 8-18 today knows the members of One Direction. May not know for sure which is which, not really sure which songs are theirs when they come on the radio, but you know the names. Zayn, Naill, Harry, Louis and Liam. Easy.
No different than knowing the names of the Beatles, Monkees or any other boy band that came before.

N'Sync & Backstreet Boys was the late 90's, not early 90's, but I'm not gay.

You are correct. My daughter was 9 when I took her to see them. That makes it 2000. They were big then.

I guess having no kids has me at a disadvantage.

I was going to say this surprised me, but then I thought about Mrs. Dallas and realized where all the sperm went.

Yea, plus I know what a shit I was as a kid (as she does too) and the kid thing went out the window early in the relationship. #winning
