With the header:
"Think the Alabama coach will be there by the time you step foot on campus???"

Doesn't make any sense.
He's been there 6 years and has won 3 national championships. Why the hell would he leave for Texas?
You really think Bama won't match any amount of money they offer him?

Its a pride issue. He has accomplished what he has wanted to accomplish at bama. Same as he felt in Baton Rouge.
Why did Nepolean feel the need to conquer the known world?

Napoleon complex - an informal term describing an alleged type of psychological phenomenon which is said to exist in persons, usually men, of short stature. It is characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behaviour, and carries the implication that such behaviour is compensatory for the subjects' stature. The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives. Other names for the term include Napoleon syndrome and Short Man syndrome.

Exiled to the Emerald Coast in not a bad idea. You got room on that little island?

This is all a ploy to continue to up salaries by agents. However if this were to happen it would be the greatest thing ever....no not because I want Saban gone from bammer, I think we can compete with them, but because the bammer meltdown would be EPIC!

Maybe...but at the same time, Saban has already conquered the college football world. I hate the guy and I think people worship him way too much, but he is a damn good coach. I don't think moving to Texas is going to prove anything that he hasn't already proven.
If he really wanted to prove himself, he'd go to an upcoming but still shitty school, make it a national contender within a decade, and then be like, "What, bitches? G.O.A.T.!" Making Texas a national contender is not a challenge, and wouldn't be any different than what he did with LSU and Alabama.
That's why I think he tried his hand at the pros. He wanted to show that he could do something that he hadn't done before. But he didn't do so well at that, so he came back to college football. If Saban isn't going to attempt to resurrect a dead college program, then I don't think he's going to be making a more or less lateral move to Texas or any other similar football school. At least not from the point of view of trying to boost his pride by proving something, because he's already proven it at the collegiate level with powerhouse schools.
Of course, money and awesome benefits could change that, but like THS said, I think Bama would match any offer without batting an eye.

The fact that he has stuck with Alabama this long makes me believe him when he says that Alabama is his last stop. He will retire by 2016 IMO.

Agreed
Right now? Bama is the better job. You get to be king. Keys to the state. Avid fan support and any sum of money you want. Pains me to say they are better job but they are. Texas fans are blah.
