You do realize that one of the teams that was playing in this video that you are promoting is a proven cheater, right? If the casual observer guesses which team it is, which team will they choose? Propaganda is an effective weapon.

Last week, CSS was showing several Auburn games. I caught the 2nd half (For the 50th time) of the 2010 Iron Bowl. They also showed our SECCG loss to Peyton Manning and Tennessee. The one I watched almost all the way through was a game in JHS against LSU. Stan White at QB and Pat Dye on the sidelines. AU jumped way out ahead and LSU came back to take a one point lead before we drove it down at the end of the game and Scott Etheridge kicked the winning FG.
It was cool to see so many of the players like White and TE Fred Baxter, RB Alex Smith and that running back in a linebacker's body, James Bostic. Two things stood out. Incredible how offenses have changed. That team was 3 yards and a cloud of dust. They pounded it over and over and would occasionally shoot one to the tight end and let Baxter run over people. But the biggest thing was the tackling. Not once did I see anyone dive at the ball carrier's feet or try to shoulder block them to the ground. It was strictly wrap them up and do whatever it took to bring the runner down. How hard is that to teach? Apparently, it's asking too much these days.

Not Auburn, but still football.

Dawg fans everywhere still complain about this hit. Of course if the same rules today were enforced then, that would be 1/2 game suspension would it not? I don't care though, I still thoroughly enjoy watching it.

I think that is our one highlight video. We will come out of the tunnel from just that one play.

Yeah, we made plenty of bid plays. Unfortunately it was for the opposing team.

That is a great song.
I would be good with that song for our entrance video.

They had a mini-celebration.

I watched the '88 AU/LSU game on Sunday. Those defenses were fucking nasty. Shocking stat revealed by the broadcasters: That AU offense was averaging 502 yds/gm.
I'd take either unit right fucking now.

You said unit.
Agreed 100% on that team. The prevent defense that prevented one hell of a team from playing for the MNC. 3 consecutive shutouts after giving up 7 points on the road to LSU. A defense that rarely blitzed because they didn't have to with that front 4.

Nasty. Fucking N-A-S-T-Y is what the '88 and '89 teams were
