I don't want them there. They don't deserve to be there. We don't need their publicity. I also don't trust them. I think they'll stand in front of our dead trees, bring up that Updyke killed them, cut to clips of fans throwing toilet paper, and then rehash the latest bullshit.
-
Fuck ESPN! Those sorry bastards shouldn't be allowed anywhere near those trees. It's a special time for the AU family and that's it.
-
Anyone else think an Occupy ESPN protest would be appropriate? Not during the actual event, of course, but before and after.
Fuck you signage, poo-flinging... could be fun!
-
I believe all media, except the university media, should be forbidden.

I'm all for passing out thousands of "FUCK ESPN" signs for the coverage.
They don't like it? This ain't Game Day. They can't confiscate the signs.

If it was any other day, I'd be all for it. But I'd hate to waste our last tree rolling with "Fuck ESPN" signs.

REALLY??? Let's poll this shit and see what the fucking peanut gallery says, because personally, I think there should be "FUCK UPDYKE" signs as well.

And I know you guys really wouldn't care, but ESPN would use it to show how profane the Auburn fan base is. Then they'd say that Updyke was mentally unstable, was probably bullied by asshole Auburn fans (while showing clips of the FUCK ESPN signs) and in his mind, had no option other than poisoning the trees as a means of venting his frustration.

Or, he could have just smoked a turkey.

I agree.
Best bet would be to have someone with a little experience sneak over to ESPN's reporter and just stand in between the reporter and the camera. Make it damn near impossible for them to do the shot.
-
I think we should roll the reporter. Not rob and assault, obviously, but actually roll that person in toilet paper.

This is ingenious. We gotta do it.

Let's do it! I'm dead serious! All it will take is for a few to start it and the others will join in.

I'm serious too. We need to get the word out.

Sooo, Dakota Mosley blames 7 failed drug tests for his part in the robbery? His attorney should serve time with him. We don't need idiots practicing law in this state...oh wait.

Idiots are outraged!
Do not presume that idiots are reduced to practicing law in Alabama, BF.

"There is a lot of money to be made by writing negative stories about Auburn (true or not). Our audience wants to read dirt on Auburn so we give them what they want. This is not NPR. ESPN is a business and we have to do what is best for our bottom line.†- Mark Schlabach.
FUCK ESPN

FUCK ESPNAgain, Mike Slive should be answering the Auburn detractors based on what Auburn has done witin the limits of the law. WHERE IS SLIVE!
-
Another interesting snipet attributed to Schlabach from the comments section of the article:
"I understand your concern, pace tiger, but you have to understand that we have a responsibility to our sponsors to create interesting news stories for our audience."
I am extremely hesitant to light my pitchfork over the comments attributed to Schlabach in that article (which has since been removed from ESPN's website). Schlabach is a stinking, lowlife cocksucker; but he wouldn't be ignorant enough to post something like this.

I read a comment (on Fbs) that the user was fake.

And I say it again, where is the Commisisioner of the SEC? This is a member school, if there is a legitimate problem then let's address it.

I heard he went to a BBQ in Kentucky.
On the serious side, Slime doesn't want to be wrong on this one, so he's gonna let the NCAA take the lead.
-
I read a comment (on Fbs) that the site was fake.
It was on ESPN's board. The site is real, the poster is fake.
I agree with you, jmar. It's par for the course with him though. He's never come to our defense; 2004, 2010, or now. He's as useful as a set of nuts on a monk.

Yes but we can become useful for him should another conference program go under the gun. He would have precedence then to defend any conference member against such rabid claims witin a timeline that falls witin state law and testing within those schools in the SEC v. all others.
He would effectively be out front and proactive, which is to his advantage.
-
Only the coarches can do that.
There is an armed robbery just waiting to happen.

And if the payoff is enough, I'll be outfront goddamnit!

This is what he allegedly said.
Agree this is too much troll to be true.

I'm going to believe its him until ESPN does a full inquiry into the matter. To me the burden of proof lies with ESPN and Schlabach to disprove the allegations. And even if they do, I still am going to stand by the allegations by Flywareagle.com. Afterall isn't that the way it works for Auburn?
-
Let him prove its not him. When is the last time ESPN ever concerned themselves with facts?
-
@Mark_Schlabach: @JohnCarvalhoAU @radiofreeblake @MorningVent Obviously wasn't me. I was born at night, but not last night
