Title: Good College QB article and stats
Post by: War Eagle!!! on February 28, 2013, 01:01:17 PM
Not surprising: Frazier's stats are horrible and so was Auburn. McCarron's stat are pretty damn good and so was Alabama.

Surpising: Geno Smith looks like a product of the system and Barkley looks WAY over rated. Conner Shaw threw nearly 5% of his passes over 40+ yards. Damn.

Really good article if you like looking at stats...

Good Find...That was an interesting article.

I do call bullshit on one thing though, no way Frazier completed 57% of passes.

Maybe they added the ones he completed to the other teams.

No, he'd be over 70% if they did that.

80% at least!

You two have the best avatars on the board, by the way.

ESPN's stats show him at a pedestrian (especially when you consider his 6.5ypa avg...per attempt...not per completion!) 53%.  Add in his 8 picks and it puts him only up to 60%.

Not a good class for QBs when you have Geno Smith as the top guy (Vince Young part II) and probably only QB taken in the first round.
IMO, Mike Glennon will be the best QB to come out of this class.

Okay. All I had to see was that Tyler Bray is ranked 7th and I'd just as soon take take my chances with Tyler Wilson if I just had to have one based solely on having seen him play over Nassib or Dysert whom I haven't.
Next season's group isn't eye popping either, looking ahead.

Next season will have AJ McTattoo...and that's about it. Pretty slim pickings.
