and being far less than fabulous next week, I'll be touring tropical waters and islands aboard a big ass Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship. No, it's not the shittastic Carnival, limp-yo-ass-back-to-port-we-done-shit-ourselves, cruise line. Flying from the Hassee' to Meeyami then on to San Juan on Saturday. Set sail on Sunday and won't see San Juan again until the following Sunday. Hitting St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Elsewhere, St. Louis, St. Elmo's Fire, Antigua and all sorts of other little slices of paradise.
Get to see my daughter, who has been performing on this ship since late October. Haven't seen her since she left so that will be cool. Bought some good sunscreen because I don't want to get too tan in late February. Plus, my liver has been begging to leave it at home. Kind of like loading up your dog to take it to the vet. They know!!!

Would love to but sadly, no. I hear that navigating that airport might be the most stressful part of the trip. Never been to it.

Yeah, I got the one daughter in the clinic, getting cured off the Wild Turkey. And, the older girl, bless her soul, is preparing for her career. Last season she was a pixie-dust spreader on the Tilt-O-Whirl. She thinks that maybe next year, She'll be guessing people's weight or barking for the Yak woman. You ever see her?

What airline you flying? American isn't too bad. There is one ghetto concourse, and that's E.

She's got these big horns growing right out above her ears. Yeah, she's ugly as sin, but a sweet gal. And, a hell of a good cook.

hey your balls will feel like years ago in the sac...covered with fine linen of boxer shorts. you know in the jar with fluid. they'll be swishing and swooshing with the wave motion.
or you wife could use them for extra buoyancy in case the ship sinks.
or just give them back and hook up with a bartender.

Look for me in the Captains chair then.

I think it's Southwest. That's who we normally fly. I like the airline overall and we've always had good luck with them. And, if there were any glitches, they made it right quickly. Only problem I have with SW is it's free-for-all seating. You board by sections and it's first come, first serve. You probably won't get to sit by whoever you're traveling with unless you're in the first couple of groups.

Yep. When a company will take care of any problems that might.....wait.....I see what you did there.

There rates are shit out of Dallas into either Atlanta or BHM, I hate flying American but they have the best rates into Atl. (Sometime Delta will) but 90% of the time its American.
-
Another BIL story but I have one that's a SW pilot, so we'll occasionally get some stand-by passes, which have saved us mucho $$$ over the years. We normally won't take chances if it's sho-nuff vacation. But, if we visit them in Houston or something like that....send em' on. Don't mind waiting a bit to save $1,000.00. I'm good. If this one's full, I'll just drink in the lounge until the next one. Call me.
BTW, I'm not a frequent flyer so I've only been on 4 airlines in my lifetime. Delta, Southwest, United and American. Just once each on the last two.
-
I would gladly offer up my plane for you to at least get to Miami on but I do not have one so I won't.

If you're flying SW, you could always pay the extra 25 for early bird check in, and you'll most likely be A45 or better.

For A-day game weekend
(Southwest) Dallas to BHM (RT) $320.00
(Southwest) Dallas to ATL $250.00 (all with one stop somewhere)
AA Dallas to ATL $239.00 (Delta was $216.00 earlier-I wished I had booked then.
AA Dallas to Columbus $316.00 This plane as of this am is totally empty. ( I paid $187.00 back in Dec when I flew into columbus.
I put my cut off date to book no later than 1st week of march.

The how fucking stupid are company's anyway? The rent-a-car places closes at 9:30pm.
So I'll work something out

I bet she has.
Snags' wife was sharing some photographs of the young lady in question at our last meet and greet drink.
They were titillating...it was awkward when I started a rowdy game of pocket pool at the table.
-
She's a pole dancer.
And she sings too.

Did she or did she not carry it into the bar after we had already commenced drinking without her?
Ergo: she brought it to me.
Thanks to you for paying for it.
