The only difference I see here is it sounds like (If the reports are true, and they seem to be) Arky really did make a big time play for the Hat. With Tubby, it always seemed to be rumors of him to Arkansas, Miami, A&M etc. with little concrete to back it up.

It was an offer with no meat. Out of the blue Arky is going to throw the bank at Lester? Not fucking likely. It was a "hey, whatcha think about this, Les?" offer. He and Long go back like car-seats.
