The latest to chime in on Saban's decision to abandon the run: Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. "I would actually have run the ball for four straight times," Bentley said when asked if he would have run the ball on 4th down from the 2-yard line. The clip was played repeatedly on the Paul Finebaum Radio Network on Wednesday prompting several callers to comment on the governor's statement.

Totally agree that pounding the ball 4 times behind a line that averages about 330 would have been more prudent there George Bush. But, I wasn't surprised by the last call either. I was actually thinking of the 09' Iron Bowl where Ginger McJets said Lord Saybinz called a TO and told them he was going to put it on McConcussion's back and called a pass. Little different situation but still a surprising call.
