Pretty huge.

Glad we're finally starting to move on from this retarded 40+ year long attempt to legislate morality.

Let's see if it is the complete undoing of their society, or as I suspect, they grow more prosperous from the extra tax revenue on shit people were doing anyway.

See. That's the difference between a lib leaning person and a fiscal conservative. The lib sees this as a social issue. You know, "fight the man" let's party. The fiscal conservative sees this as a step closer to stop the unnecessary waste in war on an unworthy opponent.

Will it work? Who knows. Just the fact hat they won't waste any more money on arrest, prosecution, and jail time makes it a win in my book. But will they spend another ton of money on trying to catch the home growers not paying taxes?

And it will be another 40 more years before Alabama's backward ass would consider a move like this. Of course why give up legislating morality when you can just talk the people in AL to borrow from the trust fund when the general fund is gone. Gotta keep all them criminals off the street and away from our kids you know.

In Washington state, decriminalization and new rules on driving under the influence take effect Dec. 6. The state liquor control board must adopt rules by Dec. 1, 2013 for licensing producers, processors and retailers.

The Washington measure may generate as much as $1.9 billion in revenue over five fiscal years, according to the state’s Office of Financial Management.

Tempting, but I'd rather live in Seattle than Denver.

Seattle's not as bad as London, but it's one of the worst in the U.S. in regard to cloudy skies and rain.  Seattle's own website (http://www.seattle.gov/html/visitor/weather.htm) indicates that it rains 50% of the time.

I've spent time in Seattle and Portland...could live with either.  If I had my 'druthers, I'd live in Victoria, BC.

All of that is to say, that I prefer the PNW to Denver.

But I'd live in any of the above thanks to the acknowledgement of the citizenry that the war on pot is fucking stupid.
