Title: Election Day Tomorrow
Post by: Tarheel on November 05, 2012, 12:06:38 PM
I'm not going to sugar-coat it; I'm really concerned and anxious about the election tomorrow, the metrics are not looking encouraging; now they could be off too, I just don't know.  However, another part of me will be glad the election is over so we'll know what we have to deal with the next four years (and I can decide whether or not to go liquid on everything, renounce my citizenship to avoid all taxes, and then move to Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic or Argentina).  I'm getting to the point where I have never been so disgusted with the idiot electorate that we have in this country along with the power mad, self-important, effete bums that we seem to elect.  There's not one Democrat who can convince me that things are ANY better now than they were the last year of Bush's term yet they seem to think it is despite the facts.  By every practical economic measure things are much worse.  And yet these same blind dupes stand to re-elect The Pharaoh.  I'm usually more objective with politics but this is the most frustrating damn thing I've ever seen and I've seen quite a few elections.

Anyway, y'all vote; I am too.

Then I'm going to Vegas to either celebrate or tell the electorate to blow it out...one last time.

Vote early and often

Another Democrat saying of that fucking corrupt-as-the-day-is-long political party...they should change it to: "vote early, vote absentee, then vote on election day too".

Well, I voted early.  Unlike the liberal bastards, I only voted once.

That's ok; I'm sure one of our friendly, smiling, 'guest-workers' from Mexico voted a couple of extra times for you.

If Texas goes Obama, I'm calling shenanigans.

Rush was speaking about this earlier this afternoon; appreciate the post link to Breitbart!

...
Scott Rasmussen is out with his October 31st Summary of Party Affiliation, and Scott Rasmussen -- as of October 31st, his most recent -- has Republicans at their highest party affiliation he has ever recorded since he's been doing this: 39.1% of the electorate say they are Republican, 33% say they are Democrat. That is a Republican-plus-5.8% margin, according to Rasmussen's latest party affiliation poll.

It ain't Democrat plus 11.

I don't think tomorrow is the end, it will be so close that either side is going to come up with something to take it to court, especially if Romney wins.

And here I thought that I was the pessimistic one today...

Well, it's expected to be R+1 at the polls.  If that's th case, it could mean a huge R victory.

If it's R+1 tomorrow then it will be a massacre.  I think if it's a D+2 to an R+1 then it's a good thing for Roms.  He is polling well enough among Independents that it will over come the slight edge of D+ 1or 2.  I don't see the 08 turnout of D+7/8 this time.

Don't get discouraged early. Romney should win this thing, at least I hope he does. Anything short of a Romney victory, we will be fucked.

Damn - there's hope for you yet brother.

All of the poll samplings are D+3 to D+11 when in fact the electorate turnout is going to be between R+3 to R+6. If Rasmussen is even close to being right in the electorate party affiliation turnout it could be "not close". This is the hope. Like Dallas, I don't want this shit hitting the supreme court. Rasmussen and other polls also did this same thing in the 2010 midterms and that was a landslide. Just sayin.

For those of you standing in line, if your election lasts more than 4 hours, call your doctor immediately.

I would raise hell if that were my polling place (and I have done it before just 4 short years ago when some Obama shenanigans was going on)!

Yeah, they are refusing entry and kicking out republican poll inspectors in Philly.  By kicking out, I mean removing them by force.  Wanna guess who is replacing them.  If you said Democrat inspectors and even some Black Panther Party folks then you would be correct.

Court order from a judge in Philly said they had to leave and put the original Republican inspectors back in place, but I bet it won't happen.
