Title: For the Non-Sunshine Pumpers - What If We Had Won?

Honestly? Probably not. Total abberation, LSU looking past us (to Towson?) But I would have enjoyed the hell out of it.

What would have happened is, I would have gotten all pumped up, we turned the corner, gonna ride the wave all the way, blah, blah... And then we would lose to Arky and I would fall into an even blacker depression than I am in now.

But I definitely would have enjoyed it for that one brief shining moment.

I tried so hard not to be excited to be at halftime with a lead. Deep in my heart I knew it would not last. I kept thinking "60 yards to glory, boys...", but it was delusional. It was painful beyond measure to know that our chance with :39 left was really no chance at all. With Cam, we could have scored twice...

I think that little tiny irrational sliver of hope was what led me to tell the Corndog after a comment he made sometime near the end of the fourth to go fuck himself because I wouldn't be.

With the way most of our team was playing last night, I think with Cam we win 42-12.

Iâ€™m gonna say no, minus the 2010 team under CGC there always seems to be one thing that bites us in the ass, whether itâ€™s a muffed punt, dropped pass, interception or fumble we canâ€™t seem to get over the top.
