Title: Continuing to Build the Case

Robenson Therezie said moving to RB was his decision. "It's something I've wanted to do for a long time."

If Nick Perry went up to Nick Saban and said, "Hey coach, I'm tired of playing DB because I may not get playing time.  I want to move to running back," would Saban acquiesce?

I'm thinking no.

So why can a player on our team just switch positions especially when we need as many top athletes in the secondary as we can find?

We have plenty of running backs.  We may get a five star commitment.  Jovon Robinson could come back.

And we're switching the big defensive back recruit who was once compared to Carlos Rogers to running back because the kid who isn't 20 yet decided on it?

What the fuck?

Maybe this is none of my business, but this is fucking stupid. You guys need all hands on deck in the secondary. This kid might be good for a handful of plays at RB. He will have to learn the offense. From what I've seen, you guys seem OK at RB. In comparison to the rest of the team, I would say that RB may be the only bright spot.

This is something I have no problem with if he wasn't contributing on defense.  If he went to Chiz and said, I want to help where I can, and I played RB in HS, can I give that a try?  As long as the reasons he wasn't competing for PT on defense had nothing to do with lack of effort or attitude, then I got no problem with it.

But can he play Quarterback?

Hell we could run the single wing but how do we get around having to field a defense?

If they'll hide Jake Holland's helmet, the defense would get light years better instantly.

I hate to admit thinking like you, but I thought about Unbalance Single Wing too.  Hell, the Broncos did that last year for the most part with Tebow.  I understand coaches staying the coarse most times, and trying to get better at "doing what we do", but we're just a shit sandwich on offense, and I would not begrudge a little "thinking outside the box" to try to make something happen.  In face, I'd respect it.

Do I really have to repeat what I posted a couple days ago. We Are Not Deep At RB. STOP ALL OF YOUR FUCKING BITCHING ABOUT EVERYTHING...THAT GOES FOR EVERYONE ELSE TOO. GOD DAMN, THIS FANBASE IS FULL OF PUSSY, CRYBABY FANS.

Chizik will not be fired at the end of this season, neither will any of his assistants. Anyone that says different from this point forward is a piece of shit bammer. Seriously, take those hopes, wad them up and shove them right up your own ass.

We Are Not Deep At RB.
The first 3 guys on the depth chart are all 4 star guys. The youngest one is a redshirt freshman, who was the #6 running back in his class. Tre Mason was the #14 running back in the country. McCalebb was a JUCO guy. What's your definition of deep?

McCalebb has been at Auburn for 4 years.

I think he meant wide.

Just be easier to count the times you didn't.
