Last few years we've gotten the full on fuck you burn in hell hate from the bammers.
Today I get the "heh heh baby Jesus is back on the throne all is right with the world it's gonna be okay little brother" mock sympathy bullshit from the assholes.
I prefer the hate.
This is a fucking deja vu nightmare.

Fuck it. I want "Suitcase Bobby" right now. But that's just me and I'm just a sidewalk fan.

NO. WAY.
I'd rather lose forever than have that low rent piece of TRASH on our sideline.
We are not bammer. We are Auburn people. At the end of the day, win or lose, we still have that. Fucking turds don't.
-
Look, the idea that Chizik would get run this year is just not registering with me. Even at 3-9, they'd give him another year at the very least. Canning him now would also mean the exit of the AD and I don't get the sense the current Board or Pres. are into that right now.
That said, this is not acceptable because it's below mediocre. There's no good reason for this team to be this bad at this point.
I expect changes on the staff after this year but Chizik isn't one I expect will be gone. Might be proven wrong, but I just don't see him on the chopping block. Not yet.

Sorry Wench, but I'm about winning on the football field and not in the business of looking in a man's heart. I hear what you are saying and respect your POV as an alum and a friend but Auburn Football is going to have to step it up and rather quickly in order to keep a place at the SEC table or become a has- been for a long time. Chiz is a terrific man and a great representative for Auburn, no doubt. I'm just glad it won't be my choice to make when the time comes...and it will come.

My adjustment.
Of course I have no idea what to do-I just know that good teams (which we ain't) don't lose to miss state.

I agree Wench. I love to win but I love Auburn more.
-
I agree Wench. I love to win but I love Auburn more.
Yeah I saw MSU beat Auburn twice at JHS.
-
I will gladly wear the Homer tag. I would rather lose at Auburn than ever pull for anyone else. I am Auburn thru thick and thin. So if that's what losers say, well, I guess I am a loser. Never mind that every bammer or Corndog I have ever met could not carry my jock strap, including my husband. I relate to Auburn, not Auburn football, so to hell with anyone who says different. Sorry if I offended y'all, because you are all my brothers, but I am about Auburn University, and that's just how I roll. Yeah, it sucks major asss, but at the end of the day? I still have an education and I am not married to my brother. My kids don't have extra toes or a family tree with no branches.
So I win at life. War Fucking Eagle.

Preach it, sister.
Even if we ignore how shitty of a person Petrino is, I don't think he'd be the answer. He was a terrible recruiter at Arkansas, and it would only be worse after the scandal.

THIS
It's what's always made us different than "them". We love our school and our campus. We love our people and culture. Winning in Football important? Yes but I'm not gonna sell my soul to the devil to do it. I drove through campus last night and was reminded that auburn is much more than football. Win or lose.

No one is saying we don't support Auburn (all of it) but in supporting for Auburn we all want the best for it, all programs. Right now our football program is in trouble and it shouldn’t be. We were told we had coach coming in that was not a good head coach but we all gave him the benefit of the doubt, heard how he took us to an 8-5 record and it was a great coaching job. 2010 The football gods shine on us and we get cam, 2011 same thing 8-5 with blowout losses to our main rivalries. 2012 we are staring at a losing record and no bowl game just 2 years removed from the MNC.
If a nuclear weapon was to drop on turd town it would be a good day, but I look at them and see a program that is excelling and re-loading and I wonder why?
Every game since 2010 that he loses just reinforces that maybe it was cam and nick and he was just in the right spot.
I am very ashamed to say that we have talked about skipping this weekend and just cut our losses. The team I support, but coaching right now is a problem.

The last time I had these feelings about Auburn football was in 1998. Difference then, from now, is if you were paying attention, and willing to admit it, you knew the recruiting had been bad, and that Dameyune Craig had carried us for 2 years. I tried not to see it then, but this time, the recruiting has been there the last 3 years. I expected the drop off from 2010, but it should have only been a 1 year deal. 8-5 was acceptable with what we had. This year is not. Worse yet, I see us going in the tank for a while if we change coaches, but as I sit here today, I can't say it wouldn't be the right move either. Fuck I hate this feeling.
You can placate yourself by talking about how Auburn is more than football. It is, but our football team shouldn't suck like this at this time. It's unexplainable.
-
Auburn is more then football. However we are talking about football and these coaches get paid an ass load of money to produce one thing - wins. I don't see that happening right now.
In most professions when you are paid to produce and don't you are usually let go.
I'm not advocating anything I'm just saying that you have to keep this in mind.
-
Through the hangover haze this morning, I will slightly revise part of what I said last night as I was well into my second bottle.
I want the coaching and on field performance to improve. What we have right now is deplorable. Something has to change. I am not on the Fire 'em all and let God sort it out bandwagon yet, but things better change and fast.
But I am NOT willing to sell my soul and become like the turds in order to get wins. I do not want an asshole on our sidelines. I did not like Saban when he was at LSU either. I despise Petrino and always have, and certainly do not see him as any kind of savior.
So I still stand by the lose forever than sell our souls line.
-
It is amazing how quickly a coach can go from being all that--a part of 2 MNC's as either the D cor or HC and another SEC champ team as the D Cor to all of the sudden not knowing a damn thing about football. So, apparently the "I need wins and I want them now crowd" can give us the magical list of head coaching candidates that will provide the required amount of wins. I am ready to see this list, since the staff that we have has gone to pot.
-
Understand where you are coming from. My point is that yes I want to win football games and I want to do it the right way. I am not saying that Petrino is the answer, I will say tha a coach can be a great x and o guy but if he can't teach what he knows and develop talent while being a leader then he is not doing his job.
I am of the old school of thought. A coach should be tough, knowledgeable and have high character. If one possesses these things the rest will fall in place. Some are born to lead and some are born brilliant but if you cannot teach others to lead and the knowledge you possess then you really are neither.
We are the Auburn famly, and we need someone that can lead the fans the players and the staff.
-
Wench I love you and I hear what you are saying and I agree, I really do. However, if saban had been hired by Auburn you would love him. You hated him at LSU because he was winner there and it was your hubby's team. Everyone hates the guy who isn't their coach.
Again at the end of the day these guys are football coaches...paid a SHIT load of money to win football games. Pure and simple.
-

No. I hate(d) Saban at the Dolphins too. He is a dick and a douche and treats people like shit. Spurrier was a coach I hated because he was winning somewhere else but he was funny and I respected him while I hated him. Saban not so much. I would not want to have a coach like that.

Again no argument, he is all of those things. I hate him with every fiber of my being. He is a football coach and wins football games... a lot of them.

Coach Shug Jordan, the winningest coach in AU history was 5-5 and 2-8 his first two seasons in Auburn. He had other losing seasons sprinkled in his tenure. I had certainly hoped that we would see a much better product than we have seen so far this year, at the same time, winning football games is not the ONLY thing that we pay our football coaches to do. I won't speak for Wench but I think I understand where she is coming from. I like having a man of character that lives our creed. I also understand that at the end of the day, he has to win football games, esp his share against Uga, Bama, and LSU. We are going through tough times right now but this isn't the first time. It is nothing that showing more promise will not solve. There haven't been many bright spots so far but they will hopefully come. I hope fans will promote the same family atmosphere that the team tries to. We need to support them more now than ever, even when we're po'd at the results. At least I haven't seen them give up yet this year like I feel they did in a few games last year.

I did see the word "creed" in there though, and fuck that bullshit too. Chizik makes 3.5M a year to put a good fucking team on the field. With the exception of a 56 yard throw, Auburn has scored ZERO fucking touchdowns. Ball State scored 20+ on Clemson this week and last week a scrub scored 20+ against M. State too. We can't even score a TD...

I did go to Auburn and agree with everything WE said, I don't agree with more than half the BS you are spewing.

You didn't go to Auburn, did you?
Imma help you out, noob. You came at a friendly time where everyone was happy, because football was just around the corner. Because of that, maybe things seem like other, family oriented AU websites. This ain't the place. That is a mickey mouse bullshit argument and it will get you fucked up in here.
Sincerely,
Someone who has no dog in the fight.

That's not how we do things here.

I don't really care to meet in the Dairy Queen parking lot to settle it princess but since you didn't likely go either, let me help you out by saying that the creed should matter. If not, just become a fan of the Saints or Falcons.

We don't ban people here. What we do is worse.
Keep this "who's a better Auburn man" shit up and you'll find out.

Creed doesn't have anything to do with winning football games. Sorry.
He is a football coach nothing more.

Never stated to be a better Auburn man. Simply said that the creed should matter to people who went to Auburn. Nothing more. I ain't exactly asking to get banned or something worse but don't appreciate threats.

Neither is going to happen, but calling out peoples loyalty is not smart. Go play with Tappy...the big folks need to vent.

Not a threat.
You started that "you didn't even go to Auburn" shit. That doesn't play here. Period.
-
Threats? Did someone invite you to get your ass whipped?
If this goes full circle, will you please schedule on a Saturday so I have something to watch?

Car Ramrod...say it.

I was mainly referring to the thought of hiring Petrino when "placating" about how we are more than football. Yes in general this sucks and is unacceptable but I damn sure don't want Petrino fixing it. Sorry bu im just not selling out my fucking school for that asshat. I don't want to win that fucking bad.

Why not? What's he done that's so horrible besides sticking a 24-year old? She was hot.
Not that it would ever be possible but how does he violate the sanctity?

Serious???
Guy is a scumbag. Ask UL or Atlanta or Arky or your former hc Tubs. He has 0 fucking character. None. He would lie to his own mother for a chance that he would benefit. At one time I wanted him. Not now. It's just my opinion. Plus I'm not so sure how well he would recruit with his recent scandal.

Here's a recruiting line:
"You see this face? Now take a look at the hot ass girl I got to lay down for me. Just think boys, if I have that kind of magic, what could I do for you?"
He makes moves that are to his own benefit. Won at Louisville. Won at Arkansas.
Zero character? Not so sure about that. We flew to meet with him, not the other way around.
It's not ever going to happen because of the way things went back in the stone ages but if it did I personally don't think it is a sign of the end of ordered civilization.
He fucked up bad. He's not going to do that again.

I wouldn't say that at all. There are still ptb that could make it so.

Saban was leaving after 3 years at Bama, because all he does is leave! He'd never stick around. Bama was a stepping stone to get back into college.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Saban wasn't a hired gun, but I think the driving reason for him to be in his 6th season is BECAUSE of all the people who questioned his intentions and his ability to stay somewhere for more than 3-4 years. Hell, I think he might really retire at Alabama.
Petrino is the same. He'll get back into coaching, at a big school, and he'll make it a point to stay and do right just to prove to everyone that he isn't a scumbag. And he'll probably end up winning a NC where ever he goes.
-
I wouldn't say that at all. There are still ptb that could make it so
Yeah well if you don't like my Petrino suggestion then how bout someone closer to home cuz?
Let's see what Blakeney's boys can do in Starkvegas.
Troy at Miss. State this SA

I want Bobby Patrino as far away from Auburn as possible. He's a dirty fucking rat, on top of, that he's an arrogant piece of shit...might as well hire Coach sabbin (minus his National Championships).
-

I agree. At one time I thought he was just a tad on the scumbag fence. But that was a while ago. He has now jumped the scumbag fence and lives in the scumbag yard.
I saw nothing on the field Saturday that made me believe that QB play was going to get good enough to make me forget Saturday. But it could happen. But I don't think it will happen before we get a few more ass-rapings this season.
Not ready to fire the whole bunch yet. For the most part, we have really good parts. When they fit, it should be fun to watch.
I think my biggest disappointment is the fact that we have not recruited a couple top notch QBs that tend to stick around. There is no offense in the country (especially ours) that cannot benefit from a better QB. The guy that says we only need a game manager is full of it. Today, you need that and all of the bells and whistles.
-
You didn't go to Auburn, did you?
What does that have to do with expecting a good football team or not wanting Auburn to be a fucking embarrassment. Right now, it is embarrassing. I want a coach with good character as much as anyone, but I want a hard nosed team that gives effort and looks well coached. Right now, we don't have one.
No, I wasn't fortunate enough to go to Auburn. I had a scholarship opportunity to go to another college and fulfill a lifelong dream of mine to play college football. However, I have been going to watch Auburn football, basketball and baseball since I was 18 months old. I sang the fight song before I sang Jesus Loves Me. I love Auburn with every inch of my being and I regret making the decision that I made 15 years ago to try and help my parents out by taking a full scholarship and not try to walk-on at the place I love.
So fuck you and all your bullshit excuses. We are not in 3rd grade anymore where they turn the score board off if things get out of hand. Coaches and players are partly judged by the wins they have on the field. And especially by the asskickings they receive by middle tier teams like Mississippi St. And right now, all we have are the asskickings to judge this coaching staff on this year. So sit back and continue to quote the creed and see how far that gets you or this coach. Hell, if it were up to you, I would imagine you would hire Brother Chet to coach football...fuck being good at football, at least he would have the creed part down...

While I don't quite agree with Wiregrass and the AUFambly line of crap about everything being about the creed and jerking off to it, I do think it means something. I also don't think it's right to take a steaming shit on it like you seem to want to do. You both are on each extreme whether either of you will admit it or not.
Things are bad. Very bad, but people need to take a deep fucking breath and aim at this issue with a least some form of intelligent thought. I understand people are pissed. I get that. I am too, but my God we sound like "them" sometimes. The fact that they practically have an NFL team across the state makes it sting even worse.
Also, remember where Wiregrass came from (AUEagle, Fambly, whatever etc). You are surprised he mentions the creed? They rub their peckers with that piece of paper for petes sake.

The creed isn't the issue here.
The issue is somebody saying he/she is a better Auburn fan and knows more and has more say "because you didn't go to Auburn, did you?"
That's not how this board operates. I know some people who didn't go to Auburn who are 100 million times the Auburn man/woman than some who did go there.
Pat Dye didn't go to Auburn. He not the Auburn man Wiregrass Fucksticker is?
-
With arms wide open.

I still don't get why everyone loves that band.
Seriously though I would say look to the Creed if Chizik was cheating on his wife, or let the players run rampant with no discipline. But since when does our Auburn Creed have anything to do with winning or losing football games and not being upset about it. I'm not calling for Kiehl Frazier to be lynched or thrown out of school. I just don't think he deserves to be a starting QB (for any division 1 school). I am sure he is a nice lad, and I am behind him one 100% as he sits in the stands and roots for Auburn.
Bottom line in my eyes is that in any profession where are you are paid to produce. Be it wins on the football field or getting assets for investing and you fail to do so. You are terminated.

Agree. Fair enough.
I think the nice medium is about halfway between the Wiregrass/Prowler camp and the Kaos/GreasyWeasal camp.

You can't lump Kaos in with that. If so, you haven't paid attention to the things Kaos has said leading up to Saturday.

Yes, I know. But I had to kick him back in the balls from the other thread. Comparing someone to GW is about the same.
I do NOT think Kaos = GW. GW is on a planet of his own. Maybe with Terry from Talladega.
And more importantly, does this mean Kaos' and Prowler's 2 year friendship is over?

Nope. Prowler has his own opinion. Not sure where mine is yet. I don't like what I see, but who does?
No ball kicking either. You kicked and connected with your own face. It happens. The blood will stop eventually.

Lest anyone misunderstand: I am not "invoking the Creed". Never once did I say anything about that. This thread has two different issues - (1) who would we replace Chiz with and (2) how much we suck. The Creed tells us how we are supposed to conduct ourselves in our daily lives so that we represent Auburn University in the best way possible. The Creed has nothing to do with how we criticize the coaches or the on-field product that was spewed forth this past Saturday.
I am not on the Fire Chiz bandwagon yet, but it would not take much more to put me on the tailgate. HOWEVER, for obvious human reasons, I would not want someone like Tressel, Carroll or Petrino as head coach at my beloved university. I want to win but I do not want to sell out our honor and integrity to do so. That's not the Creed talking - that's ME PERSONALLY saying"Why the hell would we want a fucking scumbag wearing orange and blue?"
We can demand excellence in our football program - we don't have to sell our souls to get it, but we can sure as hell demand that it be present. Like someone else said - I don't mind losing as long as the effort is there. But getting blown out is never acceptable.
So anyone on the other boards wrapping themselves in the Creed and taking a sanctimonious "Better Auburn Man/Woman Than You" role can go fuck themselves with a dead stick off a Toomer's Oak.
And Wiregrass, if you are actually thinking you will be welcomed on THIS board for saying shit like that? Think again, asshole. I would take a loyal Auburn fan who has never set foot on campus any day over some self-righteous prig like you. You are no better than a turd for saying shit like that. You can go fuck yourself twice.

Getting blown out by an average Mississipi State team is below that. I wasn't even looking at the wagon, as it passed by, but now I am up to a brisk walk trying to look for it.

I laughed my ass off at this one. I typed it all out instead of settling for the acronym because hustle like yours deserves it.
Haha, so did I. I love this forum! I'm glad I decided to join.

And I will add that it is because things seem to be getting worse with no optimism in sight. Be competitive and play hard without looking like a retarded monkey.

There are two things that make it harder to handle too: Bama is a juggernaut and we have recruited lights out the last 4 years. We know we have talent. We know under Tot and Tubs the last few years had sub par recruiting so that was naturally looked at as part of the issue. The Auburn Tigers of 2012 have talent, hence why this is so perplexing. God, I hope were not just seeing the tip of the iceberg here.

I agree with you totally, but then again.. maybe bring in Petrino as an OC instead of HC??? Much easier to tolerate a scumbag when he's a coordinator than the face of the entire program :) Then again, it'd only be a one-two year stint if something like that was seriously entertained before he was back to HC elsewhere.
I want to say I saw something that resembled a bunch formation this weekend. On the play, you had 3 guys to the left.. maybe it was a draw play or some sorta hb run of some sort. Anywho, at the snap those three just stood there clueless while Miss St just flooded through to the QB for a sack. A play designed to take pressure off the QB.. that in the end only added to it.
The offensive playcalling is blowing my mind. Granted I'm an armchair coach but either it's 80% run because of all of the problems with Frasier or just horrific playcalling sprinkled with players that are just confused as to what they are supposed to be doing at any given time.
I don't know what the right answer is to the problem.. but I do know that I've seen continuous regression since 2010. I see blatant regression now, with the exception that I believe our special teams play has been great. I've seen mixed responses on other sites, but I disagree with the blind faith approach of "believe in Auburn don't criticize anything" and the scorched earth "fire everyone right now" approach.. but honestly, who is left to replace Chizik with other than Terry Bowden or something?? One thing I miss about the Tubbs years.. at least there was some stability in the program for a period of time. Who is there to replace Frazier with if he's the problem?? You have Mosely who is injured, and a red shirt QB. That's it. There are no other options.
-
Think about it. We gave up 28 points and less than 400 yards on the road to a decent...yes it's MSU...but a decent ball club. And that with 5 turnovers and a QB that is no threat to complete a pass at any time or place. The D needs to change up some guys and sack up. We just need a QB. We don't have one...it won't change....but we just need a QB. Get one and they don't score 28...we're at least in it til the end.

And with Holland being our QB of the D.....not good. We essentially have 2 bad QB's.

First -- this is not a request nor a demand to fire Chizik. It is merely a discussion of what might happen if that bomb were to drop.
Tressell I get. Maurice Clarett/Mike Dyer. We already did that. And then there's the whole lying to the NCAA thing.
Carroll I get. Dirty NCAA cheating liar who ran rather than take the consequences of the mess he made.
They both have NCAA baggage that I don't want or need regardless of how well they may coach.
But Bobby?
He whored around with a hot girl. Wow. That just doesn't bother me in the same way. You add to the fact that he KNOWS he screwed up and isn't going to do it again?
He handled his hiring and departure from the Falcons poorly. Oh, hey, Saban did too. Most people don't handle those situations well.
And add the fact that he will work twice as hard to redeem himself? Somebody is going to get a hell of a coach. It won't be us, too much water under the bridge.
If something WERE to happen to Chizik we'd have a pretty difficult track record to overcome. Lose and you are GONE motherfucker. Top coaches won't be banging on our door. A guy like Petrino, somebody who now needs us more than we need him, might be the best we could do.

I thought the same with the playcalling too. Ive backed off that a little after watching the game again. I think (like JR said) Loeffler is playing to Frazier's ability which is not good at the moment. Giving him the best chances to make plays. And even then he is failing to execute. Loeffler put him in position to make plays Saturday and he just didn't do it. Not sure what else the OC can do other than to break down film and point blank ask him what the hell the problem was pulling the trigger with wide open WRs.

I wouldn't bet on that. Many around our program still wanted him in 2009. It was just impossible to get him from Arky with his no compete contract. No, he's free. Don't think for a min that some of the PTB aren't thinking about it.

IF Chizik isn't on the hot seat.. then at the end of the season, we need: a new OC, new LB & secondary coach, new OL coach, keep the stache because I honestly believe he's better than this going off his track record, maybe keep Loeffler around as a QB coach.. and for god's sakes recruit the best JUCO LB's, safeties, and QB or two that you can find. Screw recruiting rankings.. if it's all experienced 3 star talent, so be it... I want to say I saw a stat that 50% of the talent of the past 4 years are playing at Auburn. Find a way to develop that talent and keep them in the game for christ's sakes.. and coach the kids up. As it is at the moment.. how are these guys supposed to even build up basic confidence in themselves and the team?
Short term? I think we need to start hiring consultants or something....

We have a new OC and new DC. The things that happen when you do that are happening to us. What you don't expect are the breakdowns in personal talent that we are seeing. You have multiple people ready at just about every other position, except QB and MLB. And unfortunately these are the 2 that are, here lately, squatting to pee.

Like I said, I'm no HC or AD..but if Loeffler is calling like this due to lack of confidence at QB, then why even play? I only present a hypothetical situation, but at the same time..there is no quick fix at this point. I say start balancing out the playcalling at least and go for broke, because at worst the end result will be the same. Maybe shift positions around, change up LB, SOMETHING. I hope this weekend is a capitilization opportunity to make a lot of shifting around of personnel to prepare for what's coming, and not a disaster in its own right.

Quite honestly we play like we did this weekend, and the War Hawks will be 2-0 in SEC play.
and thats no joke.

SEC West at that. I agree on said personnel changes. If Moseley is not badly injured (And I believe he is after they wouldn't put him in Saturday) give him a lot of reps this week and have him ready first sign of Kyle being Kalil. I openly said I never wanted CM to see the field at Auburn again, except from the sidelines. But I was also openly pulling for him to come in Saturday. It was just that bad. I don't see where Loeffler's O asks the QB to do near as much as Malzahn's and I truly believe Clint would at least make us competitive by making the simple throws that Frayzzer has been unable to make. They certainly haven't asked Kile to use his athleticism other than the occasional run up the middle.
On D...no reason whatsoever not to get Holland out of there. The Stache said he had finally picked up the calls and was running the defense. What's the use in that if you're making the call and then running like a scalded dog away from the play? Put in Frost and/or McKinzey and let em' learn on the run. At least they'll try and hit somebody.

Besides Darren Bates who likes to fly through the air, what makes you think our backups will come in and hit somebody?

A (possibly) ranked La Monroe, Auburn 0-3 2 years after a NC.. Clempson hasn't Clempson'd yet, and Spurrier hasn't been mind-fucking any QB on his roster in the press yet this season. My god... this is bat country

How much louder does the screaming get if we go 0-3 and lose bad to ULM.
17-0 or something like that cause I don't see our offense putting up any points.

I would hit somebody harder than Jake Holland.
:stache: has sais numerous times that Frost's only problem is upstairs...learning where he's supposed to be. Well, spend all week teaching his ass where he's supposed to be. Make him learn it, live it, love it. But holy frijoles, like I said, even I could see how mindnumbingly bad Holland was Saturday. And I don't normally watch for stuff like that. You can't do any worse.

Yep. And if we're going to scratch this year off as rebuilding, I'd rather rebuild it with a freshman Linebacker who will mature and give us 2 or 3 really good years, than have to go through this next year or the year after.
