My personal opinion is that it's Mathieu.

I'm reading rumors that he has been dismissed from the team. Hopefully they are just rumors.

If Matthieu is dismissed, he always has a future in the porn industry.

I can't imagine what egregious act he's done to get kicked off.  The guy is a Heisman candidate.  Surely some synthetic weed isn't going to end his college career.

Maybe I haven't seen enough of him playing, but I didn't see what he was doing that really made him a superstar. Yeah, he was a good corner. But I just never saw where he was an absolute lockdown type guy. For that matter, Alabama's second and third string receivers were abusing him in the NCG. And it's not like the first string guys are All-Americans or anything. I'm not so sure that this will really hurt LSU that badly.

True.

But it will still be number two. The number one definition is set in inches.

Watch more football and less goat porn, Billy.

The guy absolutely turned a few games last year.  Got tired of the honey badger shit, but there were two or three games that he was almost solely responsible for.

If Jordan Jefferson doesn't get kicked off the team, this guy must have murdered a car full of clowns or something.

I think the primary difference you would see between him and say UAT's corners is that he had already learned how to back pedal.

Dude, you can post some of the stupidest shit:

It’s a high-profile loss for the Bayou Bengals: Mathieu, ranked as the country’s top fumble-forcer in 2011 and was fourth in punt return yardage. He was honored following last season, his second on the field, as a Heisman Trophy finalist.

I have to wonder if he really thought he was too important to get kicked off?  If so, what a dumbass.

He and Michael Dyer can start a support group for talented people who threw their careers away for some fake weed.

I'm aware he can return a punt like nobody's business. Strips the ball alot after the catch as well. But the few games I watched where he played, he got burned quite a few times because he couldn't cover. Like I said, based on what I saw. I didn't see a full body of his work, so I very well may be being a dipshit. All I'm saying is that's great for a CB to be able to do the things the Honey Badger did, and I agree that he was better than the average badger. But he should be able to lock a guy down as well.

Fast forward to about 45 seconds.  That little bastard can ball.

You're an absolute baffoon. He altered the way teams game planned and how they called plays. You would rather punt it out of bounds or go for it on 4th than to kick to this guy. He totally could take over a game in about 6 different ways.

I didn't watch but the first 3 minutes of it and I saw three fumbles that he caused AND recovered himself..two of which he returned for TD's.  That's Badgerbadassedness

From EDSBS:

Quote
BATON ROUGE - The Louisiana State Tigers cemented their status as SEC West favorites and a national preseason number one Friday by dismissing a 5'9" liability in their secondary. Mathieu, most notorious for an insufferable, dead horse nickname and his utter inability to cover future NFL receivers, is expected to be replaced by a normal-sized, fully functioning cornerback.

"The issue at hand here is a fundamental behavior. He was short, which is fundamental. He had a terrible, overplayed nickname based on an internet video your aunt liked. Your aunt liking a video means Tyrann Mathieu is not on our football team. You people need better taste in Internet videos."

LSU will replace Tyrann Mathieu at punt returner with Odell Beckham. Odell Beckham is faster and better than Tyrann Mathieu ever was, according to people who watch LSU football. He will also never take alleged pictures of his genitals that end up on mediatakeout.com, according to Les Miles.

"I can promise you a lot of things about this team. No one on this team will quit. And if they do send pictures of their genitals to people, it will be with Polaroids. You can always burn those. A Polaroid is not forever, but it can wind up in the wrong hands. Sorry about that, Governor Jindal. I really am, both on behalf of my family and the LSU football team. Please come back to our Christmas party this year."

In short, Miles believed the team would be stronger for his loss.

"Tyrann Mathieu was literally the worst player in college football. I wish him the best in his future endeavors like walking down the stairs without falling, and also not getting kicked off his next football team. Have a great day."

The rest of the internet agreed that LSU will probably replace Mathieu's replacements with even faster swamp-mutants, and will still lose two games you cannot explain through string theory, theology, or even in simple picture-stories designed for the pre-literate toddler, because they are LSU, and this is just what LSU does, man.

It's fair to say Mathieu was not a great cover cornerback. Alabama wide receiver Kevin Norwood has the proof while burning Mathieu last January.

To this I say pffffffffffffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttttt.  Kevin Norwood is a fuckstick. The only thing he ever burnt was my fries at McDonalds.

I was listening to the radio when this broke.  Guys on the sports station were saying "he's a game changer as a punt returner, and ball stripper, but very average in coverage"  This line of thinking seems to be common for some reason, but I don't get it.
