What's the big fucking deal with Barrett Jones? That tub of shit is worthless. But according to al.com he's the number one player in the SEC?
I knew they had to suck bama cock, but please. Yeldon on the list of the best is awesome since he hasn't been on the field yet. Jones at the top is a fucking asinine joke.
Fuck al.com

Was looking at one of the preseason mags that had a projection of players as far as their predicted NFL draft position. Jones was I believe 20th. There were about 7-8 SEC guys ahead of him. How do you put a center (I wouldn't care if it were Dismukes or not) as the #1 player in a conference? If Tyler Bray had anything around him, actually he does have two of the best WR's in the conference, he'd be one of the best. Just about any one of LSU's backs....Honey Badger....Lattimore....Tyler Wilson...Knile Davis....
But Barrett Jones?

They can't even get their own favorite team right.
No Nico Johnson? No Eddie Lacey?
Who the hell is Adrian Hubbard?

He plays for Bama, therefore he is automatically on the list. Lacey was an oversight.
Seriously, I have a bit of a problem putting true freshmen on a preseason list of best players. I do happen to think Dorial-Beckam-AJ-PoshSpice-Green and TJ Benedict Yeldon will be good, but let them prove at least something at this level before they're considered to be on equal ground as the best in this league.
-
My bold prediction is that Tyler Wilson becomes an average of the pack SEC quarterback without Petrino there and Arkansas loses 4 games in the regular season.
In my opinion, I don't think people give enough credit to the play-calling of MFBP

I know who Mr. Adrian Hubbard is...rws, you should know too.

So, no Eddie Lacey (the starting RB)...But they'll put Yeldon on there (2nd-3rd string RB), LMAO what a fucking joke.

This list is about as useful as the top coaches one.
Anyone remember when Tebow left and Brantley who hadn't started was a heisman candidate. How'd that work out for Florida?

And Cam was ranked like 10th in the SEC because of his inexperience.

And I still don't think he is going to amount to anything.

Now wait.....is this one of those guys who is a diamond in the rough who is the next Sen'Derrick Marks, but when the next guy comes in is a guy that should have never been offered?
See, AU wasting their time on a guy like this is why I think Chizik is not going to turn AU around. I mean, have you seen AU's run defense lately? Do you really think a 6'7" 227 pound DL is the answer? I know you don't want your DE's overly large and all, but damn. AU needs some straight up blue chip studs that can contribute immediately, not projects that may or may not qualify and will need a ton of "Yoxercising".
Well folks, rws is wrong again.

Do I need to pull out some of your posts from when Chizik was first hired? I don't have a problem admitting I was obviously wrong. Fuck, alot of people were. But as far as Hubbard goes, I still don't think he is going to amount to much. And as I said back then, if I'm wrong, then I will be pretty happy about that.
As far as my comments about his recruitment, if I remember correctly, AU was recruiting him at DE. Alabama wanted him as a Jack LB. I still don't think he would have made a good every down DE. And AU's defense did need a bunch of blue chip studs that could contribute immediately. At that time, AU needed something to bridge the gap. The cupboard wasn't exactly full.
