Title: Newsworthy! (97.3 falling in to same trap as all AL media)
Post by: JR4AU on May 24, 2012, 02:03:04 PM
Someone interviewed Jeremy Johnson, our 3 star QB commit from all of 5 days ago. Of course they had to ask him if he was solid in his commitment to Auburn.  His answer wasn't completely in the affirmative, and then they followed up with questions about taking the rest of his official visits to LSU, Ole Miss, and Ark. State.  He said he was going to.  So, since this was so earth shattering, they have run his audio clip during news segments today declaring him wavering on his commitment.

Same shit, different day.

The ham, but if I've heard correctly, they're also being carried in Montgomery too.  I may have misheard that though.  I've tuned them in as my JOX alternative.

Are you still listening to it?

I gave Stan White a chance in the morning, but I couldn't stand Eli Gold.  I had to turn them off on my morning drive.

Then in the afternoon, I couldn't take any more of Barbo.  I appreciated her Auburn fanaticism and her ability to be an objective observer, but she got on my nerves.

Look, I'm not saying it's all stellar, but it's a damn sight better than listening to the parade of jackass callers on JOX everyday. And, the lineup is totally different now.  Stan and Eli are both gone.  Yeah, Barbo gets on my nerves too.  Funny how some people perceive her as a "yeah Auburn" type, while others I know have said she appears to be going out of her way to be neutral to the point of sucking Saban's cock so that nobody will think she's an Auburn homer.  And I'm not convinced she is an AU homer.

I'm trying real hard to kick the JOX habit.  I haven't listened in a couple of months now, and I hope to keep it that way during football season.

Johnson went on the morning show and the afternoon show in consecutive days. He answered the same questions on each show, with diffrent answers.

Yes, but the "newsworthy" answers were the one's that counted.
