Title: Staying Alive

Ah Ah Ah Ah.... no.

The Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack was pretty amazing.  It's one of those things I bought on vinyl, bought on 8-track, bought on cassette and then on CD.

Combine this with the Last Dance of Donna Summer and it was a death to disco weekend.

I blame these guys:

I loved the BeeGees - still have their greatest hits on my iPod. I thought Barry Gibb was the hottest thing on two legs back in the day - so sad that he is a solo act now.

"Tragedy" is an underrated song.

I like the Bee Gees but not their disco stuff as much as their pre-disco material. They had some great stuff before the late 70's but Staying Alive kind of overshadows their entire body of work.

Every word of this. No matter what kind of day I'm having.....the BeeGees can make me smile.

Nobody rocked white pants like Barry Gibb.

Please.  This is not the cucumber festival.

He does have a top ten beard, though.  That whole werewolf look in the 70s was pretty good.

I picked up Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on vinyl a few months ago and I love it, the blue ray version of the movie is also worth a view.
