Samford beats Auburn, 8-5, with a walk off grand slam.

Tigers fall to 15-10 (4-2). Mississippi State series this weekend.

Samford isn't a bad team.  It's different in baseball than or basketball.  Samford lost to FL 5-3, bammer 6-5, and took 2 out of 3 from Penn State.  Casey Dunn (Auburn '99 for those that don't remember) is a hell of a coach.

Still, its the fashion in which they lost that stings. Up one in the last 3 outs and lose via a walk off grand slam? Ouch.

No doubt it has to sting.  In baseball, sometimes the inferior team gets a timely and lucky hit.  I would imagine that Casey felt a bit of sweet revenge beating Auburn in that fashion.  He's been shafted by Auburn in the last 2 coaching searches.
