Former Auburn recruiting target Stefon Diggs, who ultimately signed with the University of Maryland instead of the Tigers, has found himself in the spotlight again, except this time it isn't for his athletic skills.

The Washington Post reported Friday that Diggs tweeted praise for the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant when a Jeremy Lin fan responded with praise for the New York Knicks' point guard. Diggs responded with this:

Diggs has since deleted the tweet and taken down his Twitter account but, as always, once something is on the Internet, it's there.

The Auburn Nation knows what Maryland fans may be feeling tonight after quarterback Zeke Pike dropped some Twitter bombs last summer. Of course, in fairness to Pike, he never made an offensive remark about someone's race and limited his towards the Alabama-Auburn rivalry.

You don't get it.  We recruited him, so anything he does the rest of his career, if it's bad or negative, is attributed to Auburn.  Or at the very least, it must be mentioned he was an Auburn recruit.

That's about the 120th most offensive thing on Stefon Diggs's twitter feed over the last year. Dude has zero understanding that his twitter page is public.
