Winner gets...I don't know, extra bag a Cheetos.
I'm picking Patriots 27, Giants 20.
I think Brady and company are on a mission and they can hurt NYG in the redzone. By the way, Gronk isn't limping. Remember, Sabastard learned a lot from the bigger snake (re:dick) Belichick. Also, the Pats have established a run game more than the G-Men. Now, I WANT the Giants to win but I don't see it, pass rush from hell or no.
So, who ya got?
-
I predict that I won't care.
-
Giants 24 Patriots 14
I think the Giants get pressure on Brady and force him to make bad throws all game. Also, the Patriots don't have a good defense, and I think the Giants will get their running game going giving Eli a good pocket to hit his talented receivers down field.

Yep, same reasoning, and I say G-Men 23 - Pats 20
-
Pats score more than Giant Turds.
Don't have a dog in the hunt so could give two shits, but I DESPISE Eli Manning. That shit he and Archie pulled on NSD disgusted me. Plus he's an Ole Pisser.
And Brady is hawt.
So yeah, Pats win.
-
Pats 30 - G-Men 27
-
Patriots by 13 at the half. Finish up what's left of NY in the second half to win by 20. :pwnd:
Even Tiger Wrench likes the pats.

So far the Giants had it under control until they didn't and the commercials have sucked.
-
Giants 21
Patriots 17
And I bet all you hear people say is how stupid it was for the Pats to let the Giants score. Hey, it's a common strategy. You want the ball in the hands of your HoFer QB. Still though, I bet that's gonna be hard to swallow.
Will say this that was a classy move by Belichick to hug on Coughlin and spend some time there. He usually bails. They do go way back though.
Oh well, another football season had ended. Goodnight.

Auburn should have let Tennessee score in the 1997 SEC Championship Game. Would at least have had time to come back and the Vols weren't stopping us.

And yet, nobody will call Coughlin a "genius." He'll be on the hot seat next game he loses. Belichick, will always be the darling.

Boring game for the most part. Even the commercials were not very amusing. Whats even worse, the half time show with Madonna was the most interesting part of the Super Bowl.

While I cared for neither of the teams, I actually thought it was a pretty well matched and good game. You are one of those folks that likes scoring on every down don't you?

The playcalling seemed conservative until the 4th quarter. I think that contributed to the boredom.

Actually that is pretty much how the Giants have played all year. They have a good defense and were in Brady's face a lot. They shut down the offense. They are a grind it out run to setup the pass type of team. With a stable of running backs that share the rock and talented WR's. The NE defense stepped up and played a good game, I was actually expecting the Giants to win by more. New England played the worst schedule in all of football this year. I think they beat 1 team with a winning record.
-
To me, it was a great game. Manning was on fire early. Some great plays sprinkled throughout. It caused me to watch the entire game without falling aspleep.
I give not one shit about either team. Don't care one way or another about Brady or Eli. But the game was a classic when it comes to momentum swings. Giants get it at first, look to dominate, but can't totally capitalize, then the Pats wrestle it back before half, everybody thinks it's over when the Pats score last in the first half, and first in the second half, but the Giants get back in it, and make a game winning drive in the 4th.
-
I thought it was one hell of a game, well played throughout. I also thought the halftime show was the biggest pile of lip-syncing garbage I'd ever seen.
-
Correction the Patriots did not beat a single team with a winning record until they beat Baltimore in the playoffs.

Why do you hate America?

Went to my brothers for wings and boudin, and missed the entire halftime show driving home...thank God.

While it did seem to be evenly matched, I had a preconceived idea there would be much more scoring. Also, the I like the halftime show. My two year old boy was trying to do a bump-n-grind dance to the music.
-
I know I'm asking too much and it will never happen, but I wish they would stop trying to make each halftime show the biggest and bestest most incrediblest magnificentest spectacular event in the history of the world. Just roll U2 or the Stones or somebody out on the stage and let em' jam for a while. Bad ass light show, some fireworks...rock out....play football.
Now get the hell off my lawn

THIS ^^^ is what they used to do. And they were also the best halftime shows. Just good and solid. Love or hate em personally, Mick or Bono can still outperform today's new acts.

Correct me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I remember the Stones played the Superbowl halftime in 2006 and it sucked.

Depends on who you ask.
One of the 10,000 teeny boppers down at the stage? I bet they did suck. Like OMG, those old dudes SOOO were the suxxors. I want some Rhianna or like some All American Rejects, they like, tooooottally rock!
I thought the Stones were pretty solid actually. Compared to the crap like this year.
-
Ok maybe not sucked but they just played recently is more of what I meant. Not to mention U2 played in 2002.

I thought U2's in 2002 was the best one in recent memory. Playing Where Streets Have No Name while the 9-11 victims names scrolled across the backdropped was indeed well done, and then Bono opening up his jacket to reveal an American flag was a great gesture.

Mick is still a solid performer.
Ronnie and Keith can still play the shit out of those old hooks too. Very solid overall. Especially considering they are almost 70.

Who said they didn't this year? You really should upgrade your X -membership level.
-
I realized I was thinking of The Who when I said sucky performances before. They performed in 2010.
-
KISS should do the show next year.

Wait, is that the Moves Like Jagger guy? The guy Ke$ha talks about?
-
Did anyone else's feed get "lost" for about 15 seconds during the halftime show? I was cheering frantically, and then the picture came back.
