Title: BCS Winner may not get AP vote for #1

Some of the AP voters say that if bammer wins narrowly or doesn't win "convincingly", then they will still vote LSU #1 given their toucher-than-bammer schedule.

Can you IMAGINE the implosion of the Turd Reich if they beat LSU and don't get the AP trophy too?

WJOX had somebody on talking about this.  They said that the AP could and may do it just to screw with the BCS system.  I have to say that I agree with it being split since the season series would be 1-1.  Fuck bammer, I hope LSU beats them like we beat USCe in the SECCG last year.

I don't see what the big deal would be in splitting the title if Alabama won. I think it would be pretty reasonable, actually.

They said a poll was done of AP voters, and that the majority said they would vote the winner of the game #1.  I guess, though, how the game plays out, could influence that. 

I'd like to know if this is a record though...if Alabama wins, and they did split the polls, it would be the third time in history they claim a split NC having lost head to head with the team claiming the other half of the NC.

LSU has beaten the winners of the Rose, Orange, Music City, Gator, Chik-Fil-A (Peach), and most likely Cotton bowls.

If they lose in New Orleans, they will have beaten 3 of the 5 BCS bowl champions.
