Title: SEC Championship Game Thread
Post by: Townhallsavoy on December 03, 2011, 05:09:25 PM
Georgia whoopin' that ass right now.  Too bad they bark like dogs and enjoy getting butt raped by transexuals.

Speaking of rematches, Boise State could replace Houston in the Sugar Bowl.  This is unlikely since Michigan will probably go, but there is a chance Boise goes.

And if Georgia wins.......

And this is a better UGA now.
Man I want us to grow a larger defense. This is the difference right now in this game. LSU might eventually roll the Dogs but it's a game at least.

Here's something else -

I know I'm a pathetic Auburn fan looking for any reason to keep Bama out of the BCSCG.

However, we've been led to believe that LSU and Bama have legendary defenses that are even superior to SEC standards.  Because of that, it's been considered a foregone conclusion that both teams would dismantle any Big 12 or Pac 12 offense.  This is most of the time true, and I too subscribe to the notion that the SEC is the juggernaut conference that owns all others.

Today, we're seeing that the GAME OF THE CENTURY OF UNIVERSAL GOD DREAMS really was a defensive slugfest because both offenses were average.  Georgia has a dangerous quarterback with multiple options at receiver.  This Georgia team is even hindered by their injured running back.

And what is Georgia doing?  Making headway against LSU's defense.

And what is LSU doing against Georgia's good but not legendary defense?  Sucking just as hard as they did against Alabama's legendary defense.

There's a case to be made that Oklahoma State - who may be much better than Georgia on offense - could contend against LSU and Alabama.

Who deserves that chance more?  LSU or Alabama?  Or hell...Georgia?

Fuck 'em all really but I think any hot team like UGA or USCw can play with the so called legendaries. And we saw what a TCU did to a Wisky team in the Rose Bowl last year, a serious power team that ran scores into the seventies. I admire the talent but good coaching exposes the flaws.

UGA is presenting something like Arky with no real threat to run, only with a hardnosed D.

UGA also has nothing to lose and is going to come out loaded for bear. You watch LSU will settle into a rythm. Final score will be like Arky game.

I STILL BELIEVE GODFATHER.  I BELIEVE THAT LSU'S OFFENSE SUCKS.

Georgia's defense is playing stout.  Arkansas did what they did against Alabama.  They caved.

Georgia?  I don't think they cave.  I think as long as they protect the football on offense, this one comes down to the last second.

Oh and there's this:

Perhaps but I'm impressed with that fucking Grantham. And I want the same for us. What a difference one year made for LSU's development and depth under Chavous. It's not their offense. They have a veteran o-line, maybe the best overall...and they've done it with Lee and Jefferson.

LSU has 12 yards of offense.

That is absolutely pathetic.

How pathetic?

Auburn in its display of eternal pathetic glory had 89 yards against Georgia in the 1st half.

Also -

Honey Badger apparently doesn't care about goal lines either.  That was not a touchdown.

Would have been a petty reason to take it away from him.

But still.  Rules are rules.

"You can really tell which team is waiting for a national championship and which team is playing for a conference championship." - Tim Brando.

Hey Brandouche.  Maybe Georgia at this point in the season is better than LSU?

If LSU doesn't wake up and Georgia wins, then why should Alabama play for the national title if its the SEC's third-best team?

Right, just like we progressed last season game by game. This is probably going to be a close one but I  think all of the "head and shoulders above the rest" talk was premature.

And just like that.  21 straight points.  14 in the first four minutes of the third quarter.

This one is over.

42 unanswered points. Apparently Les wanted folks to get their money's worth the first half.

And if  Reggie Bush won the heisman on his return game, the Honey Badger should be the next winner. Right now, I would have to say him and RG III are the top two.

And it's not even close to those two.

Trent Richardson and Andrew Luck are special, amazing, gooder players.  But what exactly do they do extra that sets them apart from other great players at their position?

For one Trent Richardson, I can give you one Monte Ball.  For one Andrew Luck, I can give you one Matt Barkley.

But who in the country is like Tyrann Mathieu?  Who has done anything similar to RGIII?
