ESPN is reporting Washington State Coach Paul Wulf is out and Mike Leach is on the short list and interested in the job. How anti-climatic is that if it happens. I guess his style would fit right in with the PAC 47 and teams like Oregon (They're just so fast)

Washington State is going to be fast. So fast.

They say that place is out in the sticks! Tough sell recruiting wise.
-
I just would have liked to see him land somewhere closer to the east coast so we could watch what he does. Always loved to check out TT under Leach. Just amazes me when someone really knows how to run that style right. You just watch it and think, how easy do they make that look.

Not that I wouldn't hit it, any of it, except maybe the mascot, but nothing special there.

I disagree, the one to the right of the mascot backing that ass up is pretty hot.

And the one to the right of her with the abs is also hot.

RWS would hit Navy's mascot (and has)

And UNC's.

I'd hit all of that, including the mascot.

I'm talking relative to any other college campus.

And, BTW, yeah, she's the best of the bunch by a good margin.

Well sure, especially those in the SEC. I will say though that they can easily compete with other schools in their region.

Dear Coach Leach -
The most important hire of your new position will be defensive coordinator. May I present for your consideration Terrence Edwin Roof, Jr.
Mr. Roof is currently the defensive coordinator at Auburn University where he helped guide the Auburn Tigers to the 2010 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
Under his watch, Auburn's Nick Fairley was the recipient of the LOMBARDI AWARD.
He has coached three years in the SEC and matched wits with some of the nation's best college football teams and coaches including two likely national champions as well as Bobby Fucking Petrino.
He has worked alongside offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and understands how to tailor a defense to match a fast-paced offense.
Roof inherently understands that sometimes you want the opposing offense to drive the field on you and score while others you just want it to score right away so you can get your offense back out on the field sooner.
Roof has also coached at dismal places like Minnesota, Duke, Western Carolina and Louisville so it won't be difficult for him to adjust to Wahzoo Washington.
Roof's record as head coach is 6-45. That's worse than 5-19. He won't be a threat to leave your staff to be a head coach anywhere. He won't threaten you for the position.
Roof also looks like a heavier Steve Martin and could entertain the team by doing arrow through the head tricks and singing the King Tut song.
Please give Mr. Roof your full consideration.
Sincerely,
Auburn

I'm thinking he could be the guy at UAB. They suck, and they apparently like to suck. He's perfect for the job.

I think its a great hire for WSU. Leach is too good of a coach to be NOT coaching somewhere. He doesn't fit in just anywhere though. WSU culturally should be ok for him. Not sure if they will win 10 games, but they will improve under him and upset a few teams.

It's the Pac-12. You don't need a defense. I think he could win his division.

Agree. Oregon has proven that. BTW - I think that they will be as fast if not 'faster' than Oregon.
Chip Kelly, you may meet your match soon.

Same here.
Plus Leach is a much cooler guy. Kelly is a pompous ass.
