If UGA beats LSU, LSU drops to 2 (or maybe stays 1) but would the backlash over Bama not having to play that game give other comers a boost?

Would have to hurt Bama's SOS, since they didn't have to play UGA, one would think. But solely because Bama's Bama, they would probably get a bump on a week they aren't playing.

We all know that if LSU wins, bammer is in almost for sure. Would a UGA victory change that?

I think it would have to but who knows. It could be possible that LSU would only drop to #2 in the BCS even with a loss. The only shitty thing about that is you would then have two teams in the BCSNCG that did not win their own conference. Their would be some screaming mofo's at Stanford, OSU and V Tech.

The best chances for Alabama to miss the BCSCG:
- UGA wins.
- Clemson beats Virginia Tech.
- Oklahoma State obliterates Oklahoma
- A few voters come to their senses and vote Oklahoma State above Stanford.
Alabama's strength of schedule takes a hit as does their quality win (does that still count?).
Virginia Tech is knocked from the #3 spot in the human votes.
Oklahoma State hopefully impresses enough voters to put them at #2.
Stanford not playing hurts them and voters at least put Oklahoma State #3.
-
I think bama not playing could hurt them but not enough to get jumped.
-
Oh and go Iowa State.
-
Oh and fuck Houston. Glad they're losing.
Because Harris Poll voters may have voted their overrated, undefeated ass ahead of Oklahoma State.

Stanford doesn't present much of a case, because just like bama, they did not win their own division.

I would love to see Oklahoma State win by 30+, just to see what the voters do.

Honestly, don't think it will matter. The up side is that LSU is better than bammer. They are slightly better at playing the same style. Down side? 6 week layoff.

I guess we'll see. 44 - 10!

If LSU had lost, bama would've moved up to #1, LSU would've dropped to #2...assuring the GOTC Part 2. Now that LSU won, VT lost and OSU destroyed OU, it might be enough for OSU to jump into that #2 spot in the BCS.

Ok. State shut down a top 10 offense. I'm hoping that gets the attention of the voters enough to say they deserve a crack at #1. Don't think it will be, but hope is alive.
