I'm not much into freshman just walking in and playing in a league like this but it's my hope that this kid will come in and claim the position. If he's as tough as I think he will be, the attitude might just carry over to the offensive line because it appears we have few leaders on this team. He seems to be preparing himself for early play.

I'll be honest I wasn't too impressed with Pike's high school highlights, but he just may come in and take it all next year with his willingness to enroll early and even go the extra mile by getting professional QB tutoring. He's a big boy. By the time he reaches his junior year at Auburn he should be bigger than Cam was. If he can complete 60% of his passes and present a run threat, I'm all for that.
