Quote
AUBURN, Alabama -- Auburn's Trooper Taylor made the list of finalists, but Iowa defensive coordinator Norm Parker was named the American Football Coaches' assistant coach of the year Monday.

Parker, Taylor and Danny Langsdorf of Oregon State were the three finalists for the award.

Taylor coaches wide receivers and is the associate head coach at Auburn.

According to the coaches' association, the honor goes to assistant coaches who excel in community service, commitment to the student-athlete, on-field coaching success and the association's professional involvement.  The criteria for the award is not limited to on-field coaching ability or the success of the team and players that these assistant coaches work with.

Service to the community through charitable work and other volunteer activities, participation in AFCA activities and events and impact on student-athletes are all taken into account in the selection process.

Winners in other division were Jason McEndoo, Offensive Line Coach, Montana State from the old Division I-AA; Division II-Hank McClung, Offensive Line Coach, University of Central Missouri; Division III-Greg Peterson, Offensive Coordinator, Bethel (Minn.) University; and NAIA-Craig Mullins, Offensive Coordinator & Quarterbacks Coach, Georgetown (Ky.) College.

You should really stop taking the extreme fringe's words and putting them in the rest of our mouths. Very few people have said what you just did.

Hell, we may have the same thing going on at Arkansas, to be honest...but I find all this 'Associate Head Coach' Head Coach in Waiting et al to be a bit much.

Coach Taylor is world class at the backwards ass-bump to add to his waving-of-towel expertise.

There is no one in the same universe.  Go ahead, name one towel waving ass-bumper who comes close.  They'd get forearm cramps and shit their pants on impact if they tried.

Yes.  And untrue.  Because if he WERE acting like Vandy Vol, the above response would have consisted of 11,305 words.
