Title: ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

An old editorial I read that seems to be a plausible solution to our energy dependence.

As the drive of a diesel truck I heartily second this.  It's amazing how many people get in my truck (which is admittedly, bigger than all outdoors, F250 Crew Cab) and ask what my mpg is.  When I tell them around 15 in town and 18-20 on the highway they all give me an incredulous look followed quickly by a "That's what I get in my Ranger/S-10/Tahoe/Explorer/Mini-Van"
