Title: Greece Lightning
Post by: Townhallsavoy on November 03, 2011, 09:25:26 PM
From what I've read, it seems like Greece borrowed a bunch of money and then overspent even more all while covering up their actual debt to the EU.

Now, I know this is old school, but isn't that a valid reason to force a regime change?

It just seems silly that Greece is even allowed to let their people vote on the bailout when Greece and its people have cause a fucktard of a problem for an entire continent.*

*The fucktardness of the EU to be dealt with at a later date.

I was hoping this would cause the demise of the Euro (fiat currency) and all the European countries would go back to their own sovereign monetary policies.

It's not over...  Attempting a bailout of Greece is a lost cause without a fundamental reorganization of their government.  They're Socialist...  even moreso than Spain, and they don't understand what to do when they run out of wealth.  They just keep spending.  EU is striving towards Socialism, so they haven't figured it out either, whiich is why they keep throwing "good" money after bad.

The Germans are not going to stand for this...
